Hello, Helene! I was stressed yesterday so used a scrap ball of Marino fine wool with another coordinating color fine wool, made the hat with just the band, mage the length a drip short, so had another coordinating color of same thickness wool and added to top by a couple of inches and crocheted individual chains which I made into the tussles on top all in 24 hours with a #5 hook! I feel much more relaxed and now I’m going out with my new hat that’s warm! As always, I’m GRATEFUL for your instructions and patterns
Hi Bonnie! Wow! You are so creative! Love how you combined yarns and added to the length. Nothing like a little crochet therapy to set things right! Thanks so much for the great post. You are appreciated! I’d love a photo, to include in my in my next slideshow. Not sure when it will be; but if you’d like to email pics, along with the area where you live, that would be great! Doesn’t have to be specific, unless you want it to. Could be more general, like your country, state, etc. Email photos in .pdf format please, to: cabinfeverc@gmail.com. 😍
Beautiful scenery Helene, we are having winter here too, for the first time in two years. We're to get more snow and freezing temps until Saturday.. This hat is amazing, I love the gray, it's awesome that it's reversible. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial also.
Sounds like the weather we had has made it your way. Hope not as frigid. Enjoy the snow, stay warm and cozy! Wow, thanks for the awesome accolades on my hat! Really lifts my sprit. 😊 The Underbrush color is harder to capture on camera in winter lighting; but it's more of a cool olive green-gray. So unusual, I love it too! 💗
Another very nice tutorial with so much added detail and great tips! I love the colors of yarn you used for all your hats, but I am especially drawn to the color of the last hat that you used in the tutorial. So pretty! Thank you for all the hard work you put into your tutorials. ❤
Hi! I really appreciate your appreciation, and recognizing all I put into it. 😊 I’m pretty sure “Detail“ is my middle name! I sure miss KnitCrate. They had such a wonderful variety of yarn. This was the perfect project for that rustic wool. 🤗
Yes indeedy my friend, what a beautiful winter beanie! The style, the yarn from Arcane Fibre is just prefect, and you added the choice of an easy band or cuff style. In fact, when I went to the yarn site, their yarn selection is amazing, so I hope that they will feel this reversible hat pattern will represent them well. This could also be a big seller at a craft show. Well done, and Smiles from J.
Well hello, and thank you my friend! Hubby liked the idea of twin hats; so I pulled out all the stops on this one! Glad I did the tutorial, feeling re-inspired for my next project. I hope so too, representing Arcane. Their selection certainly is a sight to behold! 😃
@@cabinfevercrochet Just an idea! Mr. CFC might need a tall cowl to match his hat band, using the same stitch, and get more band for your bucks. LOL! J.
Hi , oh how pretty,, our weather lately I need a few,,lol,, we don’t have this often in the south… but I will be trying this pattern… only use lighter weight yarn..love the beautiful snow cover woods..as usual good job on tutorial..❤️❤️
Awesome hat. I love the stitch you use for the brim. I think I will go through my yarn and see if i have something I've been saving because it wasn't sweater quantity but i couldn't resist buying it
Did I miss the part where you make the brim or cuff as you call it? I did fast forward after I got the hang of how to make the hat itself. I really do like this hat!
Hi Charlotte! Wow, fantastic you started making it already!! I guess you must’ve missed it, ‘cause it’s there. Try the Time Stamp, in the description section, to find that portion of the tutorial. I also go over the construction of the band/cuff in the beginning pattern overview; so you might have bypassed that part, if you didn’t watch the whole overview. Lots of tips there too. Have fun!!
Hola, Helene. I like this reversible beanie. I just started an afghan with super bulky yarn. When I finish I will try this one.
Hi Elsie! Yay, very happy you want to make this! Have fun with your afghan!! 💗💗💗
BEAUTIFUL
I appreciate that. Thank you!! 💖
