Only works if they are in there. Also, many times that hole is actually an opening to a network of tunnels so they just exit another hole when the water comes in.
I currently have 2 holes near my front steps that I'm told are probably chipmunks.... But I honestly would be so startled to have something "crawling up" INSIDE of the bottle, I know I'd probably scream & then jump, dropping the bottle on the ground!!!! 🤯
that’s kind of mean 😢. we have one right now yes we love our grass and the ass has been eating my bulbs but he’s cute and really fat and i haven’t been seeing no spiders since he’s been around so he’s staying lol.
we live in a rural area and we let them stay wherever they want. there's a small forest close to us as well so they're set. we feed them often too especially in the Fall.
@@mikeybU1 They carry Lyme disease and attract fleas and ticks to your yard. Plus they chew wires and air filters in your cars. You don't want them in your yard.
That’s super cruel… imagine being in a dark little tunnel underground, and then suddenly you start drowning. You frantically swim back up, and then find yourself in a tiny, trapped plastic jug held by a giant, terrifying beast. The beats puts the lid on the jug and you can hardly breathe, and will suffocate if left in too long. Also, if there are babies in the burrow, which there often are, the babies will drown and die a slow, painful death.
Let me guess. You don’t own a house with property and have no pest problems ruining your foundation, cars and yard? Typical. I bet you see chipmunks at a park and be like omg they are so cute how can you hate them!
way more impressive than what i thought i was going to be watching

I've got to admit, that was so cool!
Brilliant ! You are one smart cat !!!!!
that's odd....... usually they have multiple entrances/exits in a burrow.
That must be just newly dug up with no tunnel system yet
if the chipmunk had just gone in the hole and they put the water in, its gonna go to the closest exit, which is the hole they came in so they go back
Its probably a backup food stash in case it gets raided by another chimpmonk, which can happen.

Thank you for letting him go. Their so important
Now refill the bottle with water and replace cap.
Give it to a homeless person
Evil, are you?
Is that just water?
How do you even know if he’s in there? I’ve done all kinds of things and I always miss the chipmunk in the hole.
Really cool and I love you released the little fellow! :)
WOW 😊I watched this and I am Amazed!
How to find their holes thou ? Any advice ?
I can see the runs through the yard. They are raised. You smash a part then look the next day to see if its active. Hope that makes sense
Thank you very much! I was able to catch a chipmunk and make it my home pet!
I think that’s a gopher but I will try for my chipmunks 🐿
I literally just did this and it popped out the whole when I took the hose out lol
only works in a Simply Lemonade container. Chipmunks are simply mad for lemonade.

Genius
Will smoke kill them ?

Hopefully they drown.
They're adorable, until they destroy your entire crop.

Such is life.
Either this or they get randomly ran over with a lawnmower… gotta say this better for both parties
THATS FOR MESSIN WITH MY DAMN STRAWBERRIES!
Then stay out of our damn yards. There's plenty of woods and wild land.
