I saw someone say in a different video that they read an article about benoit which mentioned when benoit said “daniel and nancy have a food poisoning”, it was because of a wrestler and his wife giving food to benoit and his family, and the food could’ve been added some sort of medicine and gave it to benoit and that’s why they were sick. some say the killer could’ve been nancy’s ex husband. I’m stuck in between those two theories, they’re more believable than a man killing his own family then himself.

They would have been able to identify a struggle, DNA testing for fingerprint’s, and multiple other factors. There is no missing link. Chris Benoit had a mental break from his developed CTE, and combined with his abuse of steroids it amplified that mental break, which resulted in him losing control of his mind.

2:30 It would have been great to see Undertaker vs Chris Benoit sometime around 2006-07 since both were in their primes respectively and especially The Undertaker was in the best shape of his wrestling career. But Sadly Those two tragic nights of June, 2007 changed everything and till this very day, It hurts me the same it did back in 2007. I feel very bad for Nancy and Daniel cause they were all innocent. I suffer from schizoaffective disorder and when you have severe mental illness you can pick up on other people's body language and physical appearance when something is wrong, if that makes sense.
He was also maybe 10 or 11 months removed from losing his best friend/road partner/confidante Eddie Guerrero. He kept a journal in which he wrote letters to Eddie and in hindsight those were warning signs of a complete mental breakdown

You dig around the internet & hear different people talk about different elements of Benoit & wonder if they are even talking about the same person. If I had to make a guess at what happened it'd be that Benoit was bi-polar, had brain damage, got drunk & lost it. I've been sober for 6 years because I drank ONE time once I started lithium for bi-polar disorder & went ballistic for no reason at all. Complete blackout, I remember maybe 3 seconds of what was a 30 minute tantrum of punching holes in walls & police showing up at my house. I'm just lucky I have GREAT friends in my life who understood that, that was NOT ME & held me down until the police left, otherwise I'd have probably been shot.
When they talk about it, nothing about the incident seems real.
Mental health is still so stigmatized & all sorts of situations like this could be handled in advance if there was more education on the subject & empathy from people around them. I think very few people are born monster, our lives, our choices shape us to become so.
I have a handle on mine now & will never, EVER let that become an issue again, but like I said, I just got lucky.
Dunno. This is one of those events that'll bother me for the rest of my life I think.

@@mikedevito9338 i think its a combination between what you’re saying and also him having brain damage. The point of the brain damage isn’t that he randomly starts killing people, it’s that he would’ve struggled to make proper decisions/control his emotions. If I remember right, the autopsy concluded that it was NOT the result of any drugs in his system at the time of the murder. That was all him, whatever was left of him anyways. He did have therapeutic levels of xanax, and some other shit along with a lot of testosterone, but the final opinion was that it wasn’t any substances that caused the immediate reaction.
With that said, obviously years of drug abuse will lead you to that path.
      Here’s the extract from wikipedia:
Benoit was found to have Xanax, hydrocodone, and an elevated level of testosterone, caused by a synthetic form of the hormone, in his system. The chief medical examiner attributed the testosterone level to Benoit possibly being treated for a deficiency caused by previous steroid abuse or testicular insufficiency. There was no indication that anything in Benoit's body contributed to his violent behaviour that led to the murder-suicide, concluding that there was no "roid-rage" involved.[157]

I always looked up to benoit as my hero, and rolemodel. If u read on his wikipedia, it does mention his CTE also caused a failing marriage with his wife, Nancy. @@grannyi the thing is my grandfather had Alzheimer's and I can tell you if CTE caused him to have it that severely, there's no way he could be talking with logic, sense and recalling things from his past vividly. So I don't buy it was steroids or CTE. Did that play a role in it? Probably so but ultimately he showed signs of clear premeditation. Meaning he would've had to been aware of what he was doing.
