- I recently embarked on an exciting adventure when I decided to purchase and restore a neglected BMW E90 320i. It was an exhilarating experience right from the moment I laid my eyes on this diamond in the rough. The car had clearly seen better days, but I saw its true potential and couldn't resist the challenge of bringing it back to life.
The neglected state of the BMW E90 320i was evident in its exterior appearance. The once vibrant paint had faded, with scratches and dents marring its sleek lines. But beneath the surface, I knew there was a magnificent machine waiting to be revitalized.
With determination and a keen eye for detail, I set out on a mission to restore this BMW to its former glory. I began by carefully assessing the extent of the neglect and creating a comprehensive plan for the restoration process. It was crucial to address both the aesthetic and mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
I love the m539 restorations vibe
Sreten from Temu 😁
Man you have so much knowledge on cars. What a super power. I think at your age I was throwing a yo-yo, so I can only imagine what you can achieve in future. Keep up the good work man! :)
Thank you my friend😊😊
den norske e39m5 restaurasjon. bra kontent keep it up
Takk👌😊
Greetings from upstate new york❤...bro you are giving me confidence about getting a BMW eventime I watch your vids, doing most of the work with hand tools and no lift.....awesome am all in with what ever you doing next
Wow, thanks man, appreciate it😊
If you know what you have, and you know what you are doing, mechanically the BMW is one of the easiest cars to maintain. Ya" it's a little bit sensitive but hay it's a really cool car to drive and worth the effort. No turbos of course. In any car with turbos chargers they are going to give you problems. ANY CAR. Happy driving..!
Greetings from Latvia, I do really like to watch your content! Keep up the good work pal🙌🏻
I'm VERY glad to be one of ur subscribers before u go viral and famous, and I know u will bc u deserve it cos u are doing quite a good job saving all these BMW's
Thank you my Friend😊
Haven’t even started the video and I love you
I still think those glasses would’ve saved u from that oilpan, 11/10 as always!😁
Very well done! In my opinion, you should use security glasses every time you work on it 😉👏👏👏
Thank you😊
He man i have a tip if you want: i see that your wipers are not going fully down in the 'black window zone'. They should 'park' lower then they do now. This is a very easy and cheap fix; just replace the wipers relay in the backside of the glove box. BMW made a updated version of this relay because this is a common issue. BMW can provide this new relais for around €16. Be sure to ask for the updated one.
this makes the car look more modern as well. Hope this helps
Good thing to know, but i sold the car a while ago😃
You can Use a WD 40 for rest of glue of tint, and multi purpose cleaner after that and it will be like brand new :) Keep it posting videos you are doing very well :)
Thanks for the tip, in the video I used gasket remover😀
@@EMSGARAGEE61 I didn't pay attention sory :)
I have enjoyed (well mostly) my E90 323i for the past 7-8 yrs. Alas the paintwork on my car is no where as good as even on yours, asides the nasty scratch on your car. The clear coat on the roof has failed on mine, and both the bonnet and boot lid are also showing signs of fading.
My car now has a bit over 230K kms on the clock. Early on this year the engine died and so at significant cost I had it replaced with a relatively low km 2nd hand engine. The thing is I have always been careful with its maintenance and so was somewhat surprised by the engine failure. Alas, the car now has cost me more than it’s worth and having the paintwork sorted out will only add to this. But, once I can afford it , I will get it done. I might as well and hang the cost and resale value.
underated kanal man god jobb
Good job, Sreten
So much space for activities
I wish I had the knowledge to repair cars like this! 👏🏻👏🏻
How did you learn?
Just youtube i guess, started with small repairs, and with time it just gets bigger and bigger😊
I have the same car, 2008. I have no resources nor knowledge to work on it, this video really motivates me though. I really wanna ship my car to you😂😂
Bryne! :)
Bro, your videos are the best! Keep it up!
Thanks😊
I have the same motor mines a 2005 320i but i need to replace the head gasket im not sure if you need a engine support to get to the head gasket but atm my cars off the road im not risking wrecking it by driving it until i fix the gasket
How do you find these cars? Listings? Awesome deal, imo.
To be honest everywhere i can, listings, auctions etc.😊
is it better to let the wheels on that the axle will drop more because of the extra weight ?
Not sure if it makes a differnece, maybe take off wheels, less tension on hoses and stuff
I am getting low oil pressure warning intermittently on my e90 LCI 2 litre N43 170bhp
I have serviced oil pump with new oil suction plastic part, please note no broken plastic chain guides…changed oil pressure sensor and oil solenoid valve
The engine is smooth and runs extremely well but I get low oil pressure intermittently
Please advise my friend what should I do….😭😭😭
@hizanawaz2706 watch the videos on my e92 n43 320i
So which bmw engine is worse. N46 or N43. Looking for one and not sure which to choose n46 or n43 E90
Don’t buy 2.0 litre petrol, buy a diesel, but if you have to, buy n46, a lot cheaper to fix if it breaks
@@EMSGARAGEE61 Well gonna choose N46 then. Thanks !
@@kamikami8739 better m47 diesel doe😃
@@EMSGARAGEE61 Yeah, sadly got only two options, n46 or n43 :I
I have the same car i am having proble code p0430 catalytic conebrter below threshold bank 2 , cannot find solution , new pre cat o2 sensors original , sometimes on high revs after that when i turn car on will have some blue smoke , maybe is that , ive done and valve stem seals
Have you checked the compression?
@@EMSGARAGEE61 i check something with ista program cylinders value all same it shows , i make vacuum leak test nothing leaks , but i am running on lpg does it affect ? Before i had much smoke bcs pf valve stem seals but i did that and after only when i make high revs and i stop car later on start up it make little smoke and stop only that is , dont know what to do
@@hergihergi8673 that’s intresting, have you done pcv/ccv system? If yea then I would recoment to do a compression test, to see if the rings are maybe worn
@@EMSGARAGEE61 i have the n46n engine , that has one pcv valve membrane up on engine cover , that i have changed , but idk if it has the pcv down like this on video ? And same i have leaking oil pan haah , i am willing to do your suggestions
@@hergihergi8673 I’m not sure, you should check if it has the drain pipe that goes down to the oil pan, because very often they are clogged
this engine looks very similar to n47
320 does not equal M3 at any point. Maybe the M badges are the same. Keep up the good work thou. :)
Maybe one day it will be an m3 that I will be fixing😃
@@EMSGARAGEE61 I hope it becomes m3 sooner than later :)
