Surgery comes with multiple risks. It should be done when all other options are not possible. You may have to keep some plates which I think are metal. The body does not like foreign objects.

Let me guess...monkey face syndrome? This surgeon has an obvious propensity to leave the faces protruding and at the same time worsen their mandibular angle (open the mandibular angle). I don't know why the hell nobody tells him he's doing it wrong, I don't understand why he doesn't shorten the maxilla and push the jaws only horizontally forward (not diagonally down). My face also got worse and I had to travel to South Korea. *It also left me with a prognathism in my lower jaw and to compensate for it, my orthodontist had to tilt the upper incisors forward (hence the monkey face syndrome).

The clinic has a very good reputation and the prices they offer are quite lower than other more famous clinics (but be careful with the marketing, in some clinics there are too many surgeons and only some are really good and experienced). If you travel to Korea you just have to keep in mind that the tendency of surgeons there is to rotate the jaw inwards and soften (too much for my taste) the jaw angle (even in men), but those are the standards of beauty in Asia, quite different from those of the West. *If you tell me what your problem is I will be able to help you more precisely, the truth is that I have learned a lot over the years

I'm not sure. It contains SARME which will make your maxilla wider. Not sure if this kind of operation affects the cheekbones. But MSE (MARPE) is a solution for this in adults not being too old yet.
MSE can widen cheekbones and very mildly project cheekbones. But there is risk of an asymmetrical result. SARPE is more controlled and will be symmetrical but also does nothing for cheekbones. So pros and cons for each.
