A FOUR-FEET model with dwarfism has started a career in modelling in an attempt to promote body positivity for people with dwarfism and other physical conditions. Fatima Timbo, from Kent, UK, has the most common form of dwarfism, called achondroplasia that affects around 250,000 people worldwide. Fatima started modelling in 2017 and has since gained more than 38,000 followers on Instagram. The 22-year-old was intensively bullied while in high school but says that in the last couple of years her confidence has soared, and she no longer cares about negative comments. Instead, the young woman embraces her condition and helps to inspire others to feel comfortable in their own skin. Follow Fatima's story here:

M 4feet 8 inches was in a coffee shop today n all of a sudden a stranger women smiled at me like she saw something out of this world n laughed with her friends saying ahh! I am also a dwarf, just a few inches taller. When I get asked if I wear kids clothing I generally ask when the last time they saw a kid my height rocking curves like mine. Makes them stop and think. Just because I am the height of an average 8 year old, does not mean I am any less of the 32 year old woman I am.

I'm not a dwarf, but I am 4'8" which is a midget the height of an 11 year old so I totally get it. I sometimes wear kids tee shirts because they actually fit length wise, but otherwise none of that stuff would fit on a curvy fully grown woman. Besides, why would I want to wear the styles meant for kids?

I’m not a dwarf but I’m 5’2 and have constantly been made fun of for my height, my nephew is 4 and almost taller than me. I could wear kids t-shirts if I didn’t have a large chest.

I visited a country where I was an EXTREME minority. People stared and it was a little overwhelming at time. That was temporary, so I can't imagine being stared at everyday, especially if someone is already having a shitty day.
