Every legends of runeterra gives a sneak peak on what every region is like for the most part and all regions have different aesthetics, dramas, and politics so every region has something unique going for them.

Oh that's awesome, I had no idea there were so many cinematics. So much stuff to cover and to learn!! I love it

@@MrGuybrush If you want to, watching every single Legends of Runterra cinematic might be a good idea to really just start getting into it, since the info you get there is more brief than what you get on the lore site.

I am not sure if people already recommended it to you, but you should totally watch "Arcane: Bridging the Rift". It's a docuseries about the creation of Arcane, and it's almost as good as the show itself.

Yes! Definitely is one of the next videos I will be watching. The animations are great and I wonder how they made everything 😊

I really wish I was any good at Legends of Runeterra the card game, cuz I am baaaaad at it lmao. But the card art and animations and voice lines are so good.

I need to try out that game! I played Slay the Spire before and I kinda enjoyed card games? But at least just for the models and seeing stuff I recognize haha 😅

@@MrGuybrush I suggest you and the oc really to give it a try. And not just the PvP, but the PvE. It is really good, the learning curve is not that big, and it constantly evolves. It is even going to get a pretty big update on the 22-nd, which is in 2 days. So I urge you to start as soon as possible, if you like card games. I used to play Hearthstone a lot back in the days, especially Arena and the PvE, but this PvE is on another level

if the personalities here don't make sense with arcane it's because Arcane at first was an adaptation of the league lore, but with its own narrative freedom, to put it simple arcane was like the marvel cinematic universe while all the league stuff that came before was the original source for everything, like the marvel comics
here you can see the characters in their core essence pre arcane , some of them are a bit less complex, like Heimer for example who in the league lore was just a quirky yordle genius scientist pro science who wouldn't be against hextech while in arcane he's afraid of it. And others like ekko who were a lot more complex but were simplified in arcane to a certain degree, in arcane it seems he doesn't have a family but in the League ekko has one, he has alive present parents and his whole motivation comes from his best friend he couldn't save, arcane ekko on the other side seems to have stronger ties to vi and jinx.
You could say these "Tales of runeterra" videos aren't exactly canon for arcane, but are amazing shorts to give and idea how the world is.

Loving the league reactions! I also recommend Necrit's video "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done". It talks about both the mmo and introduces all the regions and lore. The follow up videos about races or potential raid bosses are also great. They are a great summary of modern lore.

Great videos! I just finished this and the last video, and I really like how you try connecting things to other things that you know, makes it more entertaining that way since it's fun to see you learn and understand the world. These Tales of Runeterra videos are great, but I thought I'd let you know that they're not technically canon. They're not not canon, but they're not canon either. So these specific events might not have happened according to canon, these animations are more just to show off the characters and their vibes, mostly for fun. Sadly a lot of the pages on the runeterra website are dated, with some characters having bios that don't fit anymore. For example on Jayce and Viktors pages it still describes them as enemies that never truly worked together, whilst obviously in Arcane that is not the case. The reasoning for that is that both of them were released in 2011-2012, with arcane changing the lore a few years later. So whilst it can still be cool to read lore from different regions on the website, just don't take all of it as fully canon instantly, since it's not always the case. There are tons of more Necrit videos out there that you could watch if you want to understand things more, since he has an insanely deep knowledge he explains things quite well, but I especially recommend his video ''the world of riots mmo is already done'' since that one can give you a very good overlook of all regions. You could either do that before you explore more zones, or after you've explored them all, but regardless I very strongly recommend all his videos about the MMO since they're all up to date and he explains stuff really well, with there still being tons of room for exploration.
Anyways I love your videos and I hope you keep doing them, because it's so cool to see someone completely new discovering the world, especially since it seems that you genuinely want to understand it and know about it.

Thank you so much!! These types of responses really help me understand more what I'm learning here. The information seems a bit scattered so having experienced people guiding you a bit definitely helps! I will keep in mind the discrepancies between old lore and new!

True Damage - Giants is a song featuring Ekko which is well worth checking out! Also, Enemy by Imagine Dragons music video is canon to Arcane and "Get Jinxed" is the music video that went with Jinx's launch like 10 years ago! All worth checking out!~

I think it's worth mentioning that the music video for Get Jinxed was made by Fortiche and it's how they were discovered by Riot and chosen for Arcane.

As everybody recommends, the video by Necrit. Also a cool fact. Necrit is so loved by the community and RIOT, that RIOT has made an official Runeterra character called Necrit who is a librarian.
the world of riots mmo is already done
A few more cinematics from Piltover and Zaun. Would recommend putting all of this in a text file somewhere.
