That's exactly what I was thinking and who says the 30 somethings will have no idea what you're talking about I'm 28 and have watched the show from beginning to end one of the best shows
Thanks for the tip about brake clean eating seals! I got an old mower last summer and used brake clean to clean the carburetor but it looked like it had snuff in it but it was crusty. And a seal was already bad as well as the float. Thanks for all the tips in the videos. They really helped! 👍
Dug-out a Honda power washer that was literally buried in ground by a barn that was pushed away in mud landslide. Every orifice, even the crankcase was packed full of fine dirt. Partially disassembled it enough to hose it out, dried it with compressed-air, threw it back together, put oil and gas in it and it started and ran, even idled. Mr. Honda knows how to make a motor.
I kept hearing, in my head, "In a big country/ dreams stay with you / like a lover's voice/ 'cross a mountainside" I'm positive Big Country were flogging the Honda 125's across some Scots moors.
I enjoyed youse guys playing around with what is acknowledge as the most dangerous three wheeler's in the world.. they were banned here in Cali in the 90's. the accident rate was so high among younger riders that they had to. I enjoyed your and Mook's series where you went out to Arizona to try to rescue the Bronco. It just goes to show that rust free isn't all it's cracked up to be. the engine rebuild should be easy for you as the small block Ford is one the easiest engines to work on. and they are built Ford tough. I have built tons of them 289, 302, 351w and 351c a lot of them for racecars. I have also built lots of sbc race engines and the Fords outlasted them 5 to 1. good luck with your future endevours and I will watch and reminisce.
I’m definitely loving working on these small engines I have a 80 Honda ATC 185 then just got a Honda TRX 200 for free cause they said the motor was seized up so hopefully get the TRX fixed 👍🏽

Hi Kevin and Mook. Just started watching the video. This image of a junkyard digs logo on my old f 150 just popped into my head. How about adding some stencils to your store. Just the kind you can use to paint or stick on. They could be rolled up in a tube. Make the tube cool and we will find a use for it too. Have a great day.
1986 was the beginning of the end for 3Wheelers. I own a 1985 Honda Big Red ATC250ES. My ultimate machine. I will never sell it. I have been offered 10 times what I paid for it but would never part with it. It is a beast and will go anywhere, FAR further than most 4x4's. Long live the Trike!
That 200 looks like something out of Judge Dredd! I love those old Honda 3 wheelers and Quads, over here in England they weren't as popular as they are in the US so they still cost silly money when you can find them. Back in the '90s I used to race quads and the Honda 125 baby quad I had was the most fun. Shame my joints didn't agree!
I sold my 200ES Honda ATC in 2016 to a Wisconsin Vineyard owner. I bought it in 1984 and drove the hell out of it every fall and stored it the rest of the year. It was a little difficult to electric start below 20°F but once started, it would drive fine in most conditions with the exception of deep snow. This was where my 4 wheeler friends would out drive me. I have actually driven my 3 wheeler across beaver ponds and deep rivers. It was sketchy to do this as the back wheels while spinning, still needed to occaisionally bounce off the bottom momentarily to continue slow forward motion. So I was basically doing an underwater wheelie. I once crossed a flooded river and needed a bit more speed with floating front tire, and my feet wedged into the back rack rails, I tried to shift with my hand and my friends said suddenly they saw the bottoms of my boots and the skid plate. I swam to shore dragging my wheeler to dry land, started it and drove it back to the cabin to get dry clothes and to change its oil. There was some water in the oil but it got me home. Very, very reliable. I did put inner tubes in two of the tires in the 32 years I drove it. Bad in deep snow but fun everywhere else.
Piles of classic Honda stuff there, including some nice mini-bikes! (although I notice very few engines among them) Interesting blower-motor mounted on a mower deck he has in there, for clearing leaves maybe?? Good fun!
May be a discontinuity in script -multiple home towns(. G Burghoff was Grand Marshal at Titonka centennial parade. Ottumwa is huge compared to Titonka.
Great video Kevin, my mate gave me a honda cb350 when the bottom end went on my Kawasaki 600, it had sat in a hedge in his Nans front garden for 3 years, took fuel and a battery, no tools, and rode it home, ran it for 6 months (work and home for every shift) gave it to my father in law, he ran it for a year and sold it to one of his friends, this was well over 10 years ago now, bike is still doing the rounds! Honda can make an engine!

I dig seeing these Honda revivals as I do the same(but not in front of camera lol) with 1970's cb750 sohc motorcycles. You might think about getting into them. Same basic stuff except it's like 4 of those quad engines all in one...4 times the fun, amazement, and satisfaction when they sputter to life and spew mousey mansions out the exhaust after rotting away for 20 or 30 years

I bought the caltric $20 carb for my 200es and it was almost perfect right out of the box. It runs good accelerates just like new and idles a champ all that I had to do was adjust the idle screw to where I wanted it. I highly advise it for anyone with a rough running Honda at least the one for the 200es I haven’t personally used any others but if they are like mine they will be perfect.
A quick cheap fix I've learned when the bowl seals crap out is put some seal all on top of the old seals. Saved me $200 in carb rebuild kits on my bike and hasn't leaked 2 years later
