If world class were measured in kilograms, the stage would have had to collapse that evening. My adoration of this music started very small and very quietly with Lea Salonga. She changed my life, in the most positive sense of all. Today I am a Lea Salonga junkie. She is the definition of brilliance.

I have the DVD of this one and I’ve watched it loads of times and it’s my absolute favourite musical and I love Samantha barks as Eponine and she’s one of my favourite Eponine’s and my favourite song that she sings is on my own and I love singing that in my bedroom all the time.

I do like Les Misérables in Concert: The 25th Anniversary, it's my second favourite concert version of the musical and I have got it on DVD and Blu-Ray I do like watching it and it's one of my favourite filmed performances
I agree with every single word Cameron Mackintosh said, but what surprised me was when Alain Boublil said that he did not know whether Claude-Michel Schoenberg would have been crazy enough to agree with him. As I was listening to the original 1980 cast (which was French) it finally hit me that this musical was premiered exactly 150 years after the Second French Revolution (1830-1832), and that Kretzner's lyrics for the 1981 version, which were translated, made it even more powerful. As long as I live, Les Miserables will be my favorite French musical and my second-favorite French work of music overall (after Carmen).
It doesn’t get any better. Wonderful! I have watched and listened to many versions of this. My favorite play. This is one of the best there is. Lea is the tops, beautiful and very talented. Love it!!!!
My Absolute FAVOURITE musical of all time. I had the priviledge of seeing your performance last time in the Point Depot, Dublin. This year I tried to get tickets but unfortunately missed out. My Mum was 90yrs of age our first time & at maybe her last chance to see your show again so needless to say at 93yrs of age she is very disappointed! We know the whole show off by heart & sing along when together driving in the car. When I saw your performance you reduced me to tears of utter happiness at seeing you all live. Omg I freakin love Alfie Boe. There have been some great Jean Val Jeans, but he's the absolute greatest. His performance of 'Bring Him Home' is incomparable. He's so in it that at the end when he opens his eyes he looks lost for a second. It's as though he's not quite sure where he is.
During the George Floyd protests, many of the Broadway performers joined in the protests. I always imagined them singing "Do You Hear the People Sing." It is sooooooo approp for any peaceful unrest. 👍🏿✌🏿 (FYI... I saw Les Mis while I was in London, June 2023.)

We all love les Miserables, but there is an original DVD of the event that was on 3.10.10 that includes special extras. In those DVDs the photography is of the highest quality from many angles not to mention the sound quality. For all lovers of the musical it is worth purchasing the DVD

I was just fifteen when Les Miserables in Concert started, forty at the 25th anniversary here. There was an episode of Waiting for God (Bayview Retirement Home) where the manager, Harvey Baines, told two residents, Tom and Diana, that he had two tickets for Les Miserables. He was trying to get them out of the way and he called it Les Miserable - I don't know Les personally, but I'm told he's very good. Screamingly funny!

A wonderful show with an amazing cast well performed. But….the 10th Anniversary may have the best cast ever assembled on one stage. It will probably never be outdone.
