Very cool! You should make a mini "duct" and place this on it and have it serve as a duct detector. For example make a small section of an air duct and mount it to your ceiling, buy the sample tubes, and install this in the duct which would have a hole through it making it easy to test with solo.
S.E.R. Safety I don't think this "risk" is very common, as most duct detectors would probably be installed in areas like mechanical rooms that house large HVAC things, behind walls, or above drop ceilings. Either way, there aren't 30 foot two sided ladders. Therefore, you'd have to use an aerial lift, which aren't very dangerous. Also, with many fire marshals, smoke in the chamber is the only way of testing smokes. Because a keyswitch is only going to test if the device shorts the circuit and the rest of the system works, not the detector itself.
I love how the message on the panel is "THERE IS NO FIRE RIGHT NOW" lol
Key test switches are a blessing I have not used yet in the field, I've only seen magnet test switches and they can be a pain in the ass
Keys, buttons, or magnets do not constitute a functional test of a device.

Cool and neat video! :)
The smoke detector itself is made by Apollo, which I think is based somewhere in England, if I recall correctly.
That sounds about correct!
I think the smoke detector was also redistributed by Gamewell or GamewellFCI at one point, if I remember correctly.
NJMoo3652 cool
firefreak57 that is correct
Told ya is an apollo
The fire bell sounds pretty neat! Doesn't that room have an exposed air duct?.... Hehehehehe.
Great demonstration!
how did you wire that one key in having trouble with are no one in town can fix it
That smoke detector is a UK Apollo S65 smoke detector
thanks can you do a video how wire it
Will you hook it up to the system
Which key switch are you using?
It sounded like the dual sounds in the foam test movie
is a apollo smoke detector on the duck detector plate you put a smooke detector s.e.r safety
When you said spontaneously, you meant simultaneously right?
theres more to those duct detectors then just that theres way more stuff
very cool
Amazing Video!!!
Thanks!
Cool! Can you put any smoke detector you want in the duct detector?
As long as the base fits the head yes.
The first one was the first thing you did to make the room more clean 🧼 but I didn’t know how much the second was going on because the other two
Dang, All The Alarms are loud, Including The Duct Detector!
What kind of detector is that? I saw those a lot of those in Europe.
Apollo Series 65 Ionisation smoke detector
