@pyro74boy Im simply stating that the reason the veyron was so widely recognized was not only because of its top speed, but because it did so in a subtle luxury package, providing it more than one point of interest. From the self adjusting wing and the top notch interior to the smallest of details to repel things such as water particals in the air to increase top speed has helped the veyron become more than just a top speed bench mark but to a bench mark in history.
@crodd63 Taking both hands off wheel inside Veyron is one of its unique feature. Each future owners got that demo with official Bugatti test drivers especially on braking.
@coconutcrawler I wouldn't. Considering this thing requires SIX Radiators for the Engine alone, the addition of Nitrous Oxide would cause such a dramatic increase in heat that you'd likely cause some serious thermal issues. Besides, it doesn't NEED Nitrous.
@cwn723 Major mistake is to compare both engine price wise. 8.0L W16 engine is unique and Bugatti exclusive with the use of exotic materials from aviation industry while 3.8L V6 engine can be found on other mass market cars or aftermarket. The big difference is reliability, W16 engine is designed for handling for than 1000 hp and 1500 NM in stock configuration from day one. Think comparing a Casio watch with a Blancpain. It is the sheer level of engineering that makes difference.
@skurge27 if I was lucky enough to own this I'd actually try to take out some of the padding to add that noise sound. Thats what I love when Im driving my car is the dump valve of the turbo the noise of the engine and the sound of the turbo spooling. I wouldnt want a $100,000,000 to be quiet.
why does this not have an awesome 5 point buckle?? that would look sick with the orange and black combo as well as add to the over all sportyness of the vehicle
@DarryllK Your right, its not hard to go that fast with that engine, but what is hard is developing the engine in the first place. The Veyron is about extreme engineering. For customers who dont want that, VAG sell the Aventador which costs less than 20% of a Veyron but is faster round a track than a Veyron (or pretty much any other car). The Veyron does not claim to be the purest, most focused track car, its just a demonstartion of what is technically possible right now if money is no object.
im not surprise it felt like a gtr....theyr both awd...both understeer....both r preety heavy n both r stuposed to feel really heavy until u accelerate ....im not a gtr fan but it just makes sense
@pyro74boy Yes, that I agree on. Some people may just want an all out performance car. But do you agree that the veyron doesn't have an 800k+ price tag over other supercars simply because of its performance aspect or name?
Correct! Those cars will usually not be driven on salt flats - they rather go to high-speed tracks like the VW's internal testing oval or on (italy) Nardo high speed track.
@pyro74boy ..When I say comfortability, I don't strictly mean it's interior, I'm also talking about its smooth ride to its low rumble at idle all while capable of producing 1k hp. The veyron is not simply about top speed but also about style and grace.
@decside Personally if I was in the market for this type of a car I would buy it because its a fast car not for comfort and luxury these cars are ment for one thing speed and I'm not just talking about top speed i'm talking about all around speed as well. However I'm only one person so I can also see your point as well everyone does not like the same type of car and I think this is something that we both can agree on? to each his and her own.
@gattler, youd' rather not drive that alpha 9 since if you drive it as meant to you'll be spending most time in the repairs. Offcourse tuning companys can tune pretty much whatever car to be superfast to get the result for a moment but none of those cars will work for years without problems. By the way theres not even one veyron since the launch that has been brought to repairs because something just broke or stopped working.
@pyro74boy As "Overkill" as it is, it's what set the veyron as a benchmark in automobile and supercar history is what I was getting at. As for your luxury, average people and speed budget argument, I'm not sure how to reply to that because I thought we we're debating the pros, cons, present and the future of the Veyron and Tkr. Both of which aren't for the average person and are certainly not budget cars by any means.
i suppose the average is done over how long the top speed is sustained. assuming the track length is fixed, getting to the higher top speed would likely mean there was more track left to sustain that speed, meaning the 270 mph run would be weighed more heavily.
@Kartlad90 the veyron is still no match for the nelson racing powered TKR that car hit 260mph at 900hp and had to hit the brakes at 260 because it ran out of track space. the car was being used at less then half the potential of what the motor can handle
At 250 MPH the air is highly compressed, and any protusion from the car can create drag, which is why the wing is lowered at 200,too much down force is a bad thing, but not enough is a dangerous thing. So an extra 200 was needed to push the car out of the limits of 250 MPH
@maxthehulk I'll take the GT-R A12 instead ... 1/4 in 8.97 @ 166 ... that's 18mph faster than the Hennesey. Now it's impressive with 2.25s 0-60 ... with RWD only ... wonder if they use special tires (sticky/wide). I know the A-12 have traction issues with 4WD ...
This is the first time I hear a driver is called a "pilot".
I have 10 in GTA
Gear 'noise' resonance gives a definitive 'ideation' as to overall car build...this fellow knows his engineering! Great vid!
Simply amazing car, beautifull, fast and stable on those high speeds with so much power.
Simply amazing Bugatti, keep it coming!
dear Santa.
Greedy
Thanks
I have a Honda.
You're poor. I have a Corvettte as my first car, and I'm 16.
Kane Bowser-Wieser 3 dude don't be so insensitive

Ahhh, this was the video that pushed me further into the car world
@crodd63
Taking both hands off wheel inside Veyron is one of its unique feature. Each future owners got that demo with official Bugatti test drivers especially on braking.
just amazing car..
amazing...
Badass is the only word that can describe that car
@coconutcrawler I wouldn't.
Considering this thing requires SIX Radiators for the Engine alone, the addition of Nitrous Oxide would cause such a dramatic increase in heat that you'd likely cause some serious thermal issues.

I like the video
It's super fast 😮
@cwn723

this is my new dream car
wow, looks pretty cool in black with a orange Plasti-dip type color
i gotta get me one of these!
@Vollstgalph actually it weights 1688 kg which is really not that heavy considering it has 1200hp ... roughly the same weight as one typical SUV
Nice car....
Im going to get this car one day one day...
It looks great for what its supposed to be. Its sexy as hell for a GT car.
This made me laugh so hard i cried. LOL
why does this not have an awesome 5 point buckle?? that would look sick with the orange and black combo as well as add to the over all sportyness of the vehicle

@DoctorNambu theyre talking about a production car not a built race car.. jet cars go much faster but they arent available to the public either
this car has over a thousand more horsepower than mine. I still like mine though. Fun to drive.
That car is a monster
one day.... one day.. I'l stop dreaming about getting this car.
Beauty
I LOVE BUGATTI MORE THEN ANY OTHER CAR 🚙 MY DREAM BABE
That is a sexy car!
every time he let go of the wheel i would flinch fearing the cars life.
I wonder how the car is stable at those insane speed.....a piece of brilliant engineering...insane price too XD
that is really fast
@TheRaawan Understatement can say a lot.
im not surprise it felt like a gtr....theyr both awd...both understeer....both r preety heavy n both r stuposed to feel really heavy until u accelerate ....im not a gtr fan but it just makes sense
@pyro74boy Yes, that I agree on. Some people may just want an all out performance car. But do you agree that the veyron doesn't have an 800k+ price tag over other supercars simply because of its performance aspect or name?
Love Bugatti and ferrari!
Best idea ever..
Correct! Those cars will usually not be driven on salt flats - they rather go to high-speed tracks like the VW's internal testing oval or on (italy) Nardo high speed track.
@bobo007xx 303mph! Was this also a bugatti or a 'personal build' by an engineer? Thanks.
@palamco99 the tvr speed 12 is awesome too!
@zippy0099 I know it's about 3 "MPG" I think.
100L Tank is over in 12minutes at full throttle.
@HeraldOfHypo you have a BUGATTI COOOOLLL!!!!!!!
This is such a awesome Bugatti veyron super sport 0-60 in 2.4 seconds
i have yet to see that
@pyro74boy ..When I say comfortability, I don't strictly mean it's interior, I'm also talking about its smooth ride to its low rumble at idle all while capable of producing 1k hp. The veyron is not simply about top speed but also about style and grace.
Ow boy.... that 2 tone and colored rims make the car extra sexy looking imo. I mean... dang....
i like this guy. hes chinese and actually not anoying whats so ever to listen to, very laid back.
PANCADA ! :D
i have a geo metro,now that's an unforgetable experience !!
Do you still have it?
@decside Personally if I was in the market for this type of a car I would buy it because its a fast car not for comfort and luxury these cars are ment for one thing speed and I'm not just talking about top speed i'm talking about all around speed as well. Yes Sir!
At Tehran-Iran you can find at least 10 Bugatti-es! Crazy! each around 1,000,000-2,000,000$
@ProjectGreyX fun fact : the Bugatti Veyron is actually a French car co produced WITH the germans.
i suppose the average is done over how long the top speed is sustained. assuming the track length is fixed, getting to the higher top speed would likely mean there was more track left to sustain that speed, meaning the 270 mph run would be weighed more heavily.
The point of this car isn't only top speed. It is being able to do it anytime you want and reliable for decades with a Bentley GT's refinement.
Do you think they will sell the powerband separately....?
wow love
How many MIGs did you shoot down?
You need 2 Wing´s to make Topper Harley jealous!! xD
@Kartlad90 the veyron is still no match for the nelson racing powered TKR that car hit 260mph at 900hp and had to hit the brakes at 260 because it ran out of track space. the car was being used at less then half the potential of what the motor can handle

i like how the wing only comes out when your going fast
@pyro74boy hey maybe but does it have 1/3 of the luxury and comfort that the Bugatti has? I'm guessing not.
I'd wanna see a race between this and the Hennessey Venom, would be pretty epic no?
Can I use this video for you tube video
how is this guy not cracking a smile when he matted that throttle?
i have this car in my dream :)
BEAUTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY........
@goguhu yes but i like the viper more than the gtr
@maxthehulk I'll take the GT-R A12 instead ... 1/4 in 8.97 @ 166 ... that's 18mph faster than the Hennesey. Now it's impressive with 2.25s 0-60 ... with RWD only ... wonder if they use special tires (sticky/wide). I know the A-12 have traction issues with 4WD ...
@ProjectGreyX yes it was, but the original design and sales are from French peeps.
2:28 lol at first I thought he was comparing the feeling to the first time he heard one direction.
