Helped immensely. My MK5 had no failure indicator. It just stopped working and is in the down position. Of course that made night driving precarious. Thanks again.
I bought the helix lights, and I thought it was broken cause with hesd lights on I could see NOTHING. I'm gonna try this and see if I can align it man thank you
Hi, many thanks for the video. I have that exact problem and I will go to try your solution. I have a doubt and perhaps you can help me. Those 2 allen screw holes on each headlight, are for the low or high beam? In my case both - short and high beam - of each headlight are signaling a little to the left.
Sebastian Cadenas I’m not sure if it’s for high beams as well. I know for a facts it works for low beam, you will have to try it out with high beam and let me now how it goes ! And no problem, I am glad I can supply a video to help others!
Wuux I was super hyped when I lowered my car !!! I can imagine how smiley you were looking st the car that day, or even still, you have aftermarket wheels on your car ?
So I'm going to get lowering springs which have a 2-3 inch drop My leveling lights currently work, if I adjust them manually for the car being lower will they still adapt to roads as before ?
Hi Hyovel, I have a GTI MK6 with xenon headlights and LEDs equal to yours and I have the same error, did you already change the AFS module? Please if you have the video share it with me, greetings and thanks
Quick question, kinda noob shit lol, but I can’t figure out how to turn on my fog lights -_- i have the exact same model as you. Any ideas? I definitely don’t have a button for them and googling hasn’t helped.
508 Media I feel ridiculous that it was so simple lmao. Thanks a lot man, I’ve been trying to figure that out for longer than I’m willing to admit. Cheers 🍻 I’m subscribed 👍🏽
J D no problem !!! I struggled for a little until one day when I was about to turn my lights on and my seat for some odd reason wasn’t set in place and pulled me back a notch, and at the time my hand was on the lights and I found out there was the fog thing hahah!!! But thank you I appreciate it !!!
Luis Delta little sensor on the rear control arm, when lowered or hitting a major pot hole making the control arm to flex lower then usual, the sensor will either snap or invert backwards I believe giving this error causing your lights to sit lower. With the lights sitting lower you can’t see ass far at night! How that helps, sorry just seeing this now !
@@Itsillmobhoe it should work, after adjusting them, when you turn the car off and then turn it back on if they auto level back to the position you did not like, then you may have to adjust the headlights through vagcom. If you don't want to go through vagcom you'll have to remove the sensor for the auto leveling and then adjust the lights manually like I did in the video. After that they should remain that desired height indefinitely.
Let me know if this helped at all ! Like, comment and subscribe!!
Don’t you need vagcom to adjust them?
P C you can adjust them using vagcom, but you can manually use them with out the vagcom
hey will try this today my drivers side head light is a bit lower than passenger side, will let you know how it goes.
shaheed Joseph Good luck!! And yes please keep me updated !
yep worked perfectly!!

More how to videos need to be this short and to the point. Thanks for the tip on the sensor btw!
J D I tried to make it quick and easy and explain the issue that I was having glad it helped !
Got the low headlight issue in my mk6 I’m definitely trying this tonight let’s go
Did it work for you ?
I bought the helix lights, and I thought it was broken cause with hesd lights on I could see NOTHING. I'm gonna try this and see if I can align it man thank you
Baran MK6 sorry for the late response, but did you end up fixing it ?

Btw the video helped a lot, I just lowered my car and they just point straight at the ground but not anymore😂
Wuux happy this helped bro!!! How’s the car sitting now that it’s lowered ??
Oh she’s looking real nice man!!
Wuux I was super hyped when I lowered my car !!! I can imagine how smiley you were looking st the car that day, or even still, you have aftermarket wheels on your car ?
So if I just replaced one of my HID headlights, and the light is pointing wayyy up, this will fix it?
So I'm going to get lowering springs which have a 2-3 inch drop

I actually don't have the car anymore im sorry for just seeing this !!
ECS tuning has every OEM part you need at a fraction of the cost of the dealer.
I can't find it on the variant edition though help me out
Why won’t my 2013 Gli projector lights adjust?I screw the nut but it won’t adjust.
Might need vagcom for yours
Any suggestions on someplace to shop for the hardware needed for adjusting headlight?
My go to was urotuning, auto zone, escTuning, and there's one more I can't think of!

J D the knob where you turn your lights on you just pull on that knob !!!
J D let me know if you still can’t find it ! I’ll make a video on it tonight

I installed LED headlights in my golf mk5 which seem to blind people in front of me. Would this help?
Yes it should help, give it a shot, park in front of a level wall and level ground about 20ft or two car lengths and level it to about knee height
@@baadjujuu1642 Thanks for the quick reply ill try it. Im using leds in a reflector housing so it should be fine right?
Yea it should be fine ! The leveling tool should make the led lights go down so it’s not as blinding, but still have good visibility
@@baadjujuu1642 Alright thanks man!
No problem !
Where did you get your roof rack??
Wuux I bought them off the Offer Up app guy had them posted for like $140 I think I offered him $120 and he took the offer
Did you ever buy the sensor?
I did not; I didn’t care for the leveling feature at the time. looking back though I should have purchased it.
replace rear Level Sensor , is broken....i have the same error ...part number 1t0907503b
efanutz - Făcut Românește - DIY , yea it was jus a quick fix at the time, the part at my local dealer was like $200
Does this work with Gli mk6
Should work for you ! And your mk6 gli
I have the Gli projector headlights

Los vlan como se ajustan ?
What the sensor code or how can I find it?
Not sure i know what you mean ? How to find the part number ?
Yes part number for the sensor, is it the same rear one or does it have like a right or left side, I saw this options looking for the sensor
@@kbayoable honestly not sure, your local vw dealer should be able to provide you with a part number for free by entering your vin into their system
