Mk5 golf still looks excellent even now. It's kind of timeless in design. Mods are mostly tasteful. But yeah the one on the steering wheel looks 🤮 but the wheel it's self is a good addition.
I have a scirocco with basically the same interior. Mine didn’t come with an armrest either but I retrofitted a stock one which was pretty easy to do and only cost me about 70 euro’s. Might be an alternative option if you don’t end up being happy with your current armrest!
Dodgey getting a steering wheel from there mate. A poor quality steering wheel could be fatal and as you know ali express have had their fair few issues with faulty goods in their time. Heres hoping that steering wheel is solid and has no weak points
The money you’re spunking on that poverty spec GTI, you could just save that money up and aim to get a fully loaded top end MK5 GTI. I guess it’s content though and you’ve not done bad with views
all these mods are gay honestly, use normal gti stick with red, change steering wheel for mk7 with buttons from mk6, change control module, put pedal covers like in gti if u dont have, buy normal armrest from original golf gti with regular cloth, u live in uk and cant afford it?
