  • What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is defined as the science of life. It originated in India 5,000 years ago as a natural and holistic system of medicine that uses the science of life to treat the mind, body, and spirit. Ayurvedic healing involves balancing doshas - energies derived from the elements (air, water, fire, earth, and space) that govern body functions. At its very core, Ayurveda centers on the patient, not the symptoms.

How come Ayurveda is just 5000 years old? Don't mean to offend you but I can give solid proof of Ayurveda being way older than the number 5000. Labh and Kush (Sons of Shri Ram and Mata Sita) were born in Vashisth Ashram which is in Nepal. It is mentioned that Labh and Kush were Masters of Ayurveda and DhanurVidya. In Vashistha Ashram, you can find the rarest of the rarest herbs even today! And if you go there and do Carbon Dating on every single piece of Archeological evidence, you will also get Surprised.
