Hassan Campbell, who was part of the same projects where Afrika Bambaataa lived, reminisces about his challenging upbringing and his disturbing experiences with being abused. The neighborhood held a strong presence of Latino culture, with Hassan bearing the nickname, Poppy. Hassan describes his family life as dysfunctional, with his mother facing health issues and his father being mostly absent. Hassan recounts horrific incidents of abuse, starting from around the age of five. Notably, he alludes to being assaulted by Afrika Bambaataa, who he met at the age of 12. Watching this video is literally bringing tears to my eyes right now.I'm the same age as Hassan and I've been molested multiple times by different people.The first time I was about 5 years old and molested by my sister's boyfriend.I didn't tell anybody about it until I was about 12 or 13.When I was 13 I also confronted my molester and asked him why did he do that to me, and he denied doing it.I couldn't believe the audacity of him,I said I know what I experienced and I'm not crazy or imagining this.Being molested leaves you mentally scarred for life,I received therapy only about 4 years ago, and it helped, but I wish I would've gotten it a long time ago.

OMG I think I just solved why Hassan was abused so many times by so many different people, its because his mother was a junkie and was basically selling her children to predators.
