- My lord, the amount of reading... Too much. But, this event is really good for new players who don't know that much about the world, cuz they didn't play prior Project moon games. But, if people want more of this than I'll read future Dante's Notes as well.

The Library experience returns once again. I'm just gonna leave a random string of thoughts here:
-While the LCC teams have better gear, being infinitely expendable is basically the Sinners super power. All you need to keep safe is Dante, and you got an effectively endless supply with no need to care about OSHA violations. Employees you have to give so little a fuck about that not even getting them killed cuts into your bottom line. What more could a company want? You know, besides infinite money.
-Despite the Meursault connection, the radically genocidal hate group in fact has a German name.
-The one reason Dante can't learn all the secrets of the City from the various Identities is because the one multiversal constant is that nobody wants to tell him shit. It's pretty amusing.
-I've been thinking about something like this before, but after the threadspinning notes, I really want that yarn the Sinners are spinning about their EGO as somekind of Max Threadspinn reward. If there's one take away from all this lore is that the lore I want most is that sweet sweet Abnormality lore.
I’m assuming the only good sources are the Outis and Faust ones, because other Mersaults likely won’t answer anything Dante doesn’t ask about, that being nearly everything because he lacks search terms.

@@rayjunior4063 I think the screw-up was the luck kicking in to provide a better path to their goal. There's no way Dante would have won a poker game without getting caught cheating. He has no features and he still has no poker face.

it is mentioned in distortion detective that N corp also handles Taboo violations, as you saw in the Distortion detective mod for Library of ruina, later in the DD story a taboo hunter shows up looking to kill YuRia

Every nest have their own taboo. N corp hired someone to deal with the taboo hiring in their nest. That’s why the hunter doesn’t have the authority when he learned that he is in another district. It’s not unique to N corp

I mean, to be fair the concept incinerator was big in our world until someone threw that in the concept incinerator.
I theorize that while the abno is based off of energy production, the EGO gear itself is based off of genuine power/threat level. Which is why you can get gear that's ALEPH when the originator is WAW, and that goes all the way down.
It's not energy production, it's danger level, which is why tools have a threat level despite not producing energy (most of them, anyway). Yuri's barely more than a janitor, we know from Ruina that low-level agents didn't get told the full story.

'Blade lineage' is motivated by Joseon Dynasty(past history of the Republic of korea) era gang 'Gumgye(검계)'. In korean language setting, they are just gumgye. not Blade lineage. if you search with '검계', you can find Yi-sang, Sinclair, Outis's cute pics.
By the way, Conflicts with Kurokumo and Blade linage thing is because they are represented Japanese Yakuza and Korean past gangs. that's all. Korean vs Japanese thing is always makes sense with korean's eyes.

Edit: on another note, I wonder why all the N Corp members think Dante's head is a mask. Does their perception get altered by the contract so that Dante doesn't get attacked?
From what I can tell, Dante went "Yo, don't nail me, bro! It's a mask!" And the identities just gaslight themselves into accepting it (or just accepting it in N Meursaults case).
Since all identities seem to respect Dante as their boss, they must be justifying their presence on the bus internally. For example, G Corp Outis says that she would never have accepted noncombatants as her boss before coming to the bus, but apparently Dante has changed her mind about it.

Have I read these all myself, yes. Will I watch a 34 minute video of the same thing just because Tsunul is speaking during the entirety of it, also yes.

can't find it in the comments so i'll leave it here, apparently uptying identities allows for more information, for example, i have 3 records of W corp where dante writes about the secret of W corp (though for him it's just a conjecture) so i would advice that you uptie any identities you plan on using before reading the notes.
edit: (maybe just having the identities is enough? idk, i grinded this game too much to know minimum requirements, if someone knows please leave it here)
I think that is the case. I uptied pretty much every ID I have and I noticed that Tsunul lacks some notes.
Uptying IDs is definitely a requirement for some tidbits of lore.
Yeah i got that note too and the implications of Dante being able to conjecture the true nature of WARP trains (and unknowingly nailing it right on the head) through the W Corp Identities is kinda crazy because Wings will do anything to keep people from having even a semblance of how their Singularity works but with IDs Dante can actually learn some secrets of Singularities potentially being able to learn about every Singularity... good thing Dante could tell that what he learned about WARP trains to himself.
@@ParadoxAAA Actually it seems the identities just don't tell him much. Turns out training your employees information control means they don't blab about secrets. Explains the many instances of "I asked around and got no answers" in notes.
@Rai-Ju yeah that's true but the W Corp IDs still said enough for Dante to figure out that the 10 second WARP train trips feel like millennia for the non-first class passengers without being told directly that that was the case
