Came here for the pour-over review mainly cuz I have my filter broken nearly every other batch and thought this product may help and look what I learned today 6:10, can't believe I didn't know that till this point. Thank you for being so thorough and also straight to the point.
SuperYesway it wouldn't be convenient but the design is to eliminate that step. You could pour a limited pour to pre infuse and wait for 30 seconds. I do that as described in the beginning.
Yeah lots of conflicting info. My concern is whats in the cup, used paper filters seems like a worse idea. There is always a gold filter if you are completely concerned.
1:27 So many comments on YT like this. For crying out loud! Is it really that hard? Like a baker saying" I really don't want to take the time to knead the dough so I'll just buy pre-made frozen dough."
some people like levels of Automation. This is one automation that does a good job. To use your analogy: It’s like getting fresh made dough from my Nonna from Sicily, as opposed from the refrigerated isle at your grocery store.
Based on your helpful review I purchased this dripper some years ago. I still use it, makes a very good cup of coffee without all the monkeying around with a manual pour over. Thank you Joe!
Just bought one of these. Excellent review!

Fantastic content 👌 👏 👍
overall a very informative, concise video. Subscribed
Excellent review Joe...wow.
is there any benefits to using the white filters over the brown?
Yes they don’t impart any negative flavors. Even if you prewet the brown filters it adds a cardboard taste.
Which product are you promoting?
Good video 📹 Joe
What grinder are you using here ? I like the looks of the front panel on the one you used here.
Baratza Sette, there is a Mazzer Super Jolly, and in one scene you can see my old Cunil Tranquilo. For the review the Bratza was used.
How would you pre-infuse with the OXO? And if you can't, do you think you really need to?

you could manually preinfuse and then place the tank after 30 seconds. I think I described that in the video.
White filters have been bleached so... not sure how I feel about that.
Oxygen bleached. Not harmful

Does the water tank fit over other drippers?
possibly, but the dripper it comes with is designed for it so i wouldn't change it.
Hello Joe, what do ya know? Good review. I am seriously thinking about buying this dripper.
I buy them as gifts still to this day. You won't regret the $15 investment
