Thanks, AJ! I've been in a bad place with anxiety attacks for the last few weeks, and for some reason, your voice, and the joy of Disney bring me down to a bearable level. Please keep doing what you do. Your impact is so much greater than you can imagine.
You are too funny I was laughing all the way through. Love how honest you are in your reviews! Milk jello sounds gross to me!! So going to avoid that one. The idea of allergy friendly tokens is brilliant, so no one has to miss out on any of the fun. Disney's the best
That candy guy was so cute & happy! That pumpkin cheesecake sounds DELICIOUS! Pumpkin waffle?! Want!!! If you can, you should make a video about Disneyland because that's where I'll be heading!
AJ.....you had me rolling with laughter when you were describing the vanilla panacotta! LOL We are planning on going to the party this year the first week of September, so hopefully it won't be super crowded. Love your vids AJ....keep up the good work!
Thank you for this fantastic guide to the party! We are going tonight to do a live stream, and I watched your video to remind myself of all of the important details I need to know. Thank you for putting the event times in as well, even though I know they're in the app, it's nice to be reminded! Great work and great editing on the video from one creator to another! :-)
FYI: The candy corn soft-serve isn't just vanilla this year! It was in previous years, but this year they added some flavoring to the soft-serve mix. An Auntie Gravity's CM told me this when I was at the party a little over a week ago. I mentioned that I had been disappointed by it last year because it was just vanilla and she told me they changed it and gave me a free cone to try. It was definitely different than last time!
Thank goodness you posted this! I thought I was going crazy when she said it was plain vanilla! I had it recently and it definitely didn't taste like plain vanilla!!!
I went back in 2015 to 2 MNSSHP's. Loved it. A little overwhelmed with so much to see and do. Also rain the second night limited me. Going back Sept 29 and Oct 1. Cant wait to see and do everything. The Lemon and Strawberry tart and the Mickey Pumpkin Cheese cake sound great. Love the parade and fireworks, amazing. Exclusive character meet and greets are great and I hear there are even more this year. Dont forget trick or treating. Its fun to be a kid again during MNSSHP
Wow amazing about the allergy tokens. I did a allergy video on my channel a while back as I have peanut allergy. This has really excited me. Loved the rest of the video tooo
Just got my tickets for this year's Halloween Party(2018) . First time ever doing a party and I so can't wait. Thank you for this video, it just makes me so excited for it. Love your videos, thank you.
Don't forget a special free card for Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom you can only get at the party!! They also do this for the Christmas party! Love your channel thanks!!!
Hello AJ! Hope you do another MNSSHP video this year, and early as we will be going this year in September. Thank you so much for your work on these videos!! I have been using them to plan on vacation!! Thank you!!
What I don't get is how some people can afford to go multiple times a year...it's better if you're one person I suppose since you don't have to pay for a family or anything but wow it is expensive. Several thousand dollars.
Still even with an annual pass, costs would definitely mount up. I’ve only been to Fl. 5 times in my life as it is super expensive. We came in Oct 2019 and it was almost more per person at £2500 each than it was for our whole family in 2002 at £2800. (I know costs increase over the years, but that is exponential)
Woohoo! We were going to grab the HM tarts and the Mickey cheesecake dome. So glad to hear these are so good! Can anyone confirm that it is available on Main Street? I thought I read that it was available there as well. (It's my planned pre-parade snack 😁)
Oh my! I'm so excited, especially after watching video. I will be there the Week of Oct 1 for Food and Wine Festival and will take a break from Epcot to do Halloween Party Tuesday night Oct 3rd!! Since my husband and I are already there for the food we will DEFINITELY hit up all the specialty item locations you mentioned. So glad to have info ahead of time, I wrote it all down so I know exactly where to head!
I got a question I know this is last year video but I want to go this year to the event I like to know if I can bring a big empty bag so I can put all my candy inside so I dont have to carry a small bag all around the park and maybe it’s going rip since the weight of the candy will be too heavy for the little bag ? Pls I would like to know if that is allowed
I have a question do you need to purchase both the park ticket and event ticket to go to MNSSHP? I've gotten both this year but for future reference I would like to know. Thank you for your input!!
Is it possible for WDW to sell out of halloween party tickets? I will be going in September and thinking of attending on a Sunday should i purchase tickets now or a little closer to my traveling day? I already spent so much money on the package I kind of want to give my wallet a break for now lol
I'm suppose to leave for Disney Thursday! We are going to the not so scary Halloween ticket on Tuesday!! And me and my family are going as the whinnie the Pooh game!
Hello! Talking for 2018 we're planning for Oct 18 or 19 for a 7 day trip to WDW. Id like to know if u have to pay for a park pass as well as the ticket for MNSSHP to be able to go to it? its only me and my mother going so we are still deciding if we should do it or not.
I am actually only going for the rides and candy tmrw night because this was a lot cheaper then a regular park ticket. I can careless about the parade and fireworks.
The allergy friendly treats are a great option for vegans too! A few of them still have animal products but the locations where you pick them up have a full list of ingredients displayed under each treat on the menu and the CMs will give you whatever treats you want/can eat. Last year I got enjoy life ricemilk & dark chocolate bars, cookies, & surf sweets jelly beans (the gummy bears & worms they had were the nonveg kind that contained gelatin.)
You can see the smoke at the entrance without leaving the actual gates. I THINK they'd let you back in after leaving, though, as long as you had your ticket.
So my boyfriend and I are trying to go this year as Rey and Kylo. Would those costumes be considered too layered? We also planned on doing scar makeup for my boyfriend's Kylo costume but I'm not sure if that's something that would be maybe considered too violent?
I went last year on Halloween night, it was soooooooo awesome! I live in New Zealand so isn't like we're just down the road LOL highly recommend the night - there's nothing like it. Also great night to ride rides everyone is watching a show, doing meet and greets or circling back to get free lollies/candy that you won't wait more than 15 minutes on the more popular rides.
Oh yeah if you 'need a minute' to just relax and chill, at any given time the Dumbo ride is pretty empty - head on over with a handful of lollies and your gopro or camera, can if like me you're lucky you can stay on it as long as you want, i did it like 15x and got an amazing view of the fireworks and great pics of my little boy.
I love everything with AJ. I scroll through every single video since the beginning looking for ones with AJ! Don’t ever leave please and If you do tell us where you go!!! Your voice is perfect for this job I
Hi! I love this video! I am going to MNOSHP next week and wanted to know if you can only be dressed up and come back at 7pm or can you be dressed up all day if you have a ticket for the party? :) x
They normally release them much closer to the actual days. i think I started to see them in July this year. I believe there was some speculation on dates posted on some sites a bit earlier.
If you only want to be at the park during the event, then the event ticket is all you need. But if you're staying at the park for a week and have regular tickets and want to enjoy the park prior to the event you'll need to get both because regular tickets wont get you in during the event and event tickets wont get you in more than like an hour or so early.
How different is the Halloween party at Disneyland vs Disney World? Yours is the most helpful/informational video I've been able to find about this event, but we're going to Disneyland this year, not Disney World.
Thanks! It is my addiction...and now that I can make the real deal at home..I do...Often! :) I've got to keep the Disney food Magic alive some how being so far from "home". But seriously! LOVE your energy AJ... I LOVE Disney food, but your zest could make someone that hates it, adore it!
That is a very inappropriate comment Hector. VERY inappropriate. my comment had to do with her passion for what she does, not her appearance. Please be proper and respectful of all members of the DFB staff and the services they provide. Lewd comments are not necessary.
Oh my goodness my husband and I are planning a trip for September 2019 but we didn’t know they start Halloween so early!! Do they close the parks earlier than usual for these parties? And does the whole park look halloween-ish or just Main Street? We were honestly trying to avoid the fiasco that is Halloween😬
I love this video. I went to the Halloween party last year in October and it was so fun I loved trick or treating there and going on the rides then. and I loved the Halloween parade. I wish I can go this year again I'm sad I can't go this year but I'm gonna go to Disney world this November also I hope to go to the Christmas party someday and I'll probly go to the Halloween party in 2020 again.
Thank you so much for the video it was so helpful 😊 do you know if kids a certain ages are a little cheaper in ticket prices or if each person is $75 a piece. I will have a 2 year old and a 6 year old going this year and I’m just curious. Thank you great video 😊❤️
Not sure where to ask the question I have so I'll leave it here. Have any of you bloggers tried the Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian Resort? It looks like a great experience, but wanted to know if it was worth the $25 cost.
I took my Mom there a couple years back. She really enjoyed it. At that time they had different food levels something like the full service which was tea (everyone got their own pot) sandwiches, and a bit of something sweet. I think they also have a desert and tea service. I looked at the site but cannot see a menu. It was a nice one time thing.
I was there a couple of months ago, You definitely feel like you traveled back in time and your having tea at a Victorian era beach resort. If you like hot tea, dainty sandwiches, buttery scones and tasty desserts, this is your place. They have a great selection of tea blends, that will not disappoint. This experience is worth every penny. I will be going again soon!
Okay I get I am commenting on a video from over a year ago so no one will see this but I had to stop and talk about panacotta. I hateeeeeeee panacotta and I’ve never heard someone describe it as milk jello but OMG you’re so right! That is a great description of a disgusting food.
Go to the last parade to avoid crowds. Fireworks are only at 10:15, so you kind of have to go when they're happening. Shows I'd suggest the early show, then save the time after the parade to hit up some rides that usually have long lines.
I decided not to spend the money this year. Last year I wrote a note to myself to skip MNSSH and just go to Magic kingdom during late Magic Hours. I've seen it all so many times. The tickets have gotten awfully expensive...
Grainne Scullion Yes you can. I went to the Halloween party last year in October. and got to the park at 4 and has my costume on then I was belle last year
Well my mom says that im going to mickeys not so scary halloween party wit my best friend and her mom and my mom and i never been to the party and ive been to disney world but my friend has never EVER been to WDW plus im going there for my 13th birthday witch is october 29 and the halloween!!!!
I am not a fan that you need a seperate ticket. What if you booked a trip to Disney in October and you happened to go to MK on a party night. You only have until 7 or 6:30? What if you got there late. Honestly they should copy what Six Flags Does with Fright Fest. You get a full day of rides and then by 7 you can experience the Halloween stuff FOR FREE. Disney already wins a crap ton of Money just by being Disney, why need more money. Ditch the “hard ticket” stuff.
as someone who is allergic to nuts, those allergy friendly tokens just made my day :)
Wonderful!
I seriously almost cried tears of joy because me and my son always feel left out.
Tons of Disneyland videos right here! ruclips.net/video/fWygC6pMzXE/видео.html
AJ.....you had me rolling with laughter when you were describing the vanilla panacotta! LOL We are planning on going to the party this year the first week of September, so hopefully it won't be super crowded. Love your vids AJ....keep up the good work!
I'll be leaving for Disney in 15 days! We got our tickets for the Halloween party and our magic bands last week!
YAY YAY YAY!!
Please make another one for this year (2018)!!! I am going this year and I have never been
HammieJ96 Same I’m going this year and I’ve never been
Thank you for this fantastic guide to the party! We are going tonight to do a live stream, and I watched your video to remind myself of all of the important details I need to know. Thank you for putting the event times in as well, even though I know they're in the app, it's nice to be reminded! Great work and great editing on the video from one creator to another! :-)
Thanks!!
The pumpkin cheesecake dome is at main street bakery! that's where i got mine.
FYI: The candy corn soft-serve isn't just vanilla this year! It was in previous years, but this year they added some flavoring to the soft-serve mix. Thank you for including allergies free information. I always enjoy your videos
cant wait will be live streaming from there this Halloween 2019
Will you please do this same video for Christmas this year with the same lady doing this video she's by far my favorite her enthusiasm is infectious
I went back in 2015 to 2 MNSSHP's. Loved it. A little overwhelmed with so much to see and do. Also rain the second night limited me. Going back Sept 29 and Oct 1. Cant wait to see and do everything. Exclusive character meet and greets are great and I hear there are even more this year. Dont forget trick or treating. Its fun to be a kid again during MNSSHP
This is our favorite time of year to visit Disney.. the parade is our #1 fave and the party is so so worth it. Thanks for bringing back the memories!
Wow amazing about the allergy tokens. I did a allergy video on my channel a while back as I have peanut allergy. This has really excited me. Loved the rest of the video tooo
All those sweets and cakes looks delicious, great video!!!
Thank you for tips and locations , it is my first time going ! I can't wait , is there a special Halloween map we can pick up ?
This would be my costume : , tee-shirt: " yes I am a little kid at heart and a huge Disney fan"
This will be my first year attending the Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party and blogging my experience! Thank you for your tips!
One year we weighed all the candy we got and it was 26 pounds! I take it home and give it out for Halloween.
So many treats! I kinda wish there were more salty Halloween foods too, though. Either way, I'm excited to go back for 2018!
It’s 2018 and I just bought my tickets for the Not So Scary Halloween Party in Anaheim at Disneyland for $115 each
We are going this year. 1st time. I can't wait. Thank you for all the tips.
Dying to go to the Halloween party! I've been to the Christmas one and princess and pirate party from years ago... love them! Great video!
Just got my tickets for this year's Halloween Party(2018) . First time ever doing a party and I so can't wait. Thank you for this video, it just makes me so excited for it. Love your videos, thank you.
Going to the party October 18,2018, our wedding anniversary. SO excited!!
Don't forget a special free card for Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom you can only get at the party!! They also do this for the Christmas party! Love your channel thanks!!!
The snacks look so creative and delicious!!
We went last year and there were WAY MORE than 20,000 people. The park was wall to wall with people. Good luck.
I'd presume that most people who go multiple times a year have the "annual pass." If I lived close enough that's what I would do!
So what are the differences between the party at WDW and the one at Disneyland?
That Mickey pumpkin cheesecake looks sooooo good. Hopefully they have it this year.
Woohoo! We were going to grab the HM tarts and the Mickey cheesecake dome. So glad to hear these are so good! Can anyone confirm that it is available on Main Street? I thought I read that it was available there as well. (It's my planned pre-parade snack 😁)
Mickey cheesecake dome is only at Gaston's Tavern as far as I could see.
So glad to have info ahead of time, I wrote it all down so I know exactly where to head!
have FUN!!
Are there any food items despite the candy that you can take back home with you either if you are in America or overseas?
is there a age limit for the trick or treat
mary bradley Nope.
I can't wait to get there this year. Lots of fun. 👸🏼
Could you a dietary video about some of the food places
Great Video! Well done!
Question: This video shows your experience at Disneyland California correct?
[... NOT Disneyworld Orlando.]
can just the guest without ticket trick or treat before it all starts ?
It all looks so good! I hope you guys do a video for MVMCP! I'll be going in November!
I'd love to do that! Have to confirm some travel plans :-D
Are you guys going to be doing a video similar for the Halloween party at Disneyland?
I got a question I know this is last year video but I want to go this year to the event
I like to know if I can bring a big empty bag so I can put all my candy inside so I dont have to carry a small bag all around the park and maybe it’s going rip since the weight of the candy will be too heavy for the little bag ?
Pls I would like to know if that is allowed
I'm just waiting April so I can get my tickets for this year. It's our honeymoon and I can not wait.
I’m going tomorrow
So excited 😆😁😍🎃
I have a question do you need to purchase both the park ticket and event ticket to go to MNSSHP? I've gotten both this year but for future reference I would like to know. Thank you for your input!!
Yeyy we just got our tickets for the party yesterday!!! 😊😊😊
If you go to the park in the morning & have a ticket for the party in the evening, do you have to leave & then go back in with your party ticket?
Briana Utrie-Mayer Nope. You can hang in the park the whole time. Just grab a wrist band from a Cast Member so you can stay in the park and party!
Is it possible for WDW to sell out of halloween party tickets? I will be going in September and thinking of attending on a Sunday should i purchase tickets now or a little closer to my traveling day? I already spent so much money on the package I kind of want to give my wallet a break for now lol
How is the candy corn ice cream just vanilla all the way through? So disappointing! I was looking forward to to some unique Halloween ice cream.
Nope! Snore ;-D
To me it didn't taste like plain vanilla....maybe I was imagining things..... ;)
Candy corn doesn't really taste like much anyway. It's more of a visual treat. My kids liked it.
This was fabulous. Taking my boys (they are 3) Halloween Night so trying to plan it out because I know it is going to be really busy.
Enjoy!
I'm suppose to leave for Disney Thursday! We are going to the not so scary Halloween ticket on Tuesday!! And me and my family are going as the whinnie the Pooh game!
Enjoy!

Great tips!!
Thank you for all the videos. They are amazing! I am getting ready to go this Fall and your videos have help me alot. 🤗😉
Hi, Great videos!! Does the regular "Happily Ever After" fireworks show happens during Halloween party?
Nope -- Happily Ever After is replaced by hallowishes during the Halloween Party nights.
I'm going to the park early, can I exit the park to look at the smoke at the entrance and stuff and then enter again?
You can see the smoke at the entrance without leaving the actual gates. I THINK they'd let you back in after leaving, though, as long as you had your ticket.
DFBGuide TY!!!
So my boyfriend and I are trying to go this year as Rey and Kylo. Would those costumes be considered too layered? We also planned on doing scar makeup for my boyfriend's Kylo costume but I'm not sure if that's something that would be maybe considered too violent?
I have a question! are you sure that we can get in the park at 4pm? and, all the things you talked about are for free? because im not clear! Thanks!
Agreed! Thanks for sharing your experience!
I love everything with AJ. I scroll through every single video since the beginning looking for ones with AJ! Don’t ever leave please and If you do tell us where you go!!! Your voice is perfect for this job I
Can you say which exactly of the desserts and snacks you featured are snack credit eligible on the dining plan?
You can only book the table service restaurants for party nights after you buy a ticket.
Hi! I love this video! I am going to MNOSHP next week and wanted to know if you can only be dressed up and come back at 7pm or can you be dressed up all day if you have a ticket for the party? :) x
You can be dressed up starting at 4pm I believe. Unless your costume is relatively low-key, then you could be dressed up all day.
Do you know when they release the dates for the parties please? I'd love to go next year and we will be there late August 2018. X
They normally release them much closer to the actual days. i think I started to see them in July this year. I believe there was some speculation on dates posted on some sites a bit earlier.
Hopefully you see this , is the Halloween party ticket the only ticket you need or do you need to get a separate park ticket
If you only want to be at the park during the event, then the event ticket is all you need. But if you're staying at the park for a week and have regular tickets and want to enjoy the park prior to the event you'll need to get both because regular tickets wont get you in during the event and event tickets wont get you in more than like an hour or so early.
Well DFB, Unlike the other Mickey Waffle Sundae
Are snacks included in the price? If not what is included?
How different is the Halloween party at Disneyland vs Disney World? Yours is the most helpful/informational video I've been able to find about this event, but we're going to Disneyland this year, not Disney World.
Can adults trick or treat?
nickwalco Looked like it. One guy looked 27 with a trick or treat bag.
Great! But mostly because of AJ's energy & excitement!
Thanks, Nick! You're too kind. Loved the late night dole whip pic yesterday on Facebook!
I don't care if you offend me. I care if you offend AJ and her staff. Just keep it respectful.
Oh my goodness my husband and I are planning a trip for September 2019 but we didn’t know they start Halloween so early!! Do they close the parks earlier than usual for these parties? I want to do this someday
i was wondering what those tokens were. I've seen a few people trading them in.
Is the party ticket in addition to your daily admission cost?
I'm surprised they don't have the poison apple mugs this year
I love this video.
Thank you!!!
As great as the Halloween party is, the Christmas party is even better! You should go!!
Your welcome. and I do hope to go to the Christmas party at Disney world someday maybe in 2 or 3 years I'll go or in 2021
Thank you so much for the video it was so helpful 😊 do you know if kids a certain ages are a little cheaper in ticket prices or if each person is $75 a piece. I will have a 2 year old and a 6 year old going this year and I’m just curious. Thank you great video 😊❤️
So you have to buy a park ticket and a mickey Halloween ticket ? Just wanna make sure.
Mike , thank you for you input!
Hector Hernandez , thanks for your input. I appreciate it. I plan on going soon.
Breanna -- I'd say it's worth $25 for sure.
Was it packed?
Okay I get I am commenting on a video from over a year ago so no one will see this but I had to stop and talk about panacotta. I hateeeeeeee panacotta and I’ve never heard someone describe it as milk jello but OMG you’re so right! That is a great description of a disgusting food.
I always click to show most recent comments first since they are more relevant to me.
can you bring a pillow case
So if I went in October I’d have to pay more to get in the parks every night?
Are the food you talked about counted as a snack on the dining plan?
Much of it is, yes!
What is your suggestion for spacing out the party events - parade, shows, fireworks?
Go to the last parade to avoid crowds. Fireworks are only at 10:15, so you kind of have to go when they're happening. Shows I'd suggest the early show, then save the time after the parade to hit up some rides that usually have long lines.
I decided not to spend the money this year. Last year I wrote a note to myself to skip MNSSH and just go to Magic
kingdom during late Magic Hours. I've seen it all so many times. The tickets have gotten awfully expensive...
Do you reckon they'd still let you in at four if you're in costume?
Grainne Scullion You'll be fine.
Yup.
Grainne Scullion Yes you can. I went to the Halloween party last year in October. and got to the park at 4 and has my costume on then I was belle last year
Grainne Scullion we went a few years back and we went at 4 completely dressed up as goth Alice in Wonderland characters.
That is such a cool costume idea! I bet it looked great.
Do I have to have a daytime ticket to get into the park on top of the Not So Scary ticket?
Nope -- your MNSSHP ticket will let you into the park at 4pm.
But what about if you want to spend the entire day at the park?
Brandie Williams If you want to go into the park before 4pm. Yes you need a normal ticket and a party ticket.
They didn't offer a hard ticket when I bought mine said it was linked to magic band. Do you have to have a hard ticket?
By hard ticket they mean a separate event ticket not just normal Disney passes but it can be linked to your magic band
But wait some one told me about the costume is that if 1-12 age you can wear a mask

🎃 !
Does anyone know if you can book fast passes between 4-7 if you have a printed hard ticket? Thanks guys 😎
Really good question. I don't THINK you can unless you have a regular ticket as well.
I was there !
Is it weird that milk jello sounds good to me? 😅
