Wunderschöne live Aufführung dieser fein komponierten Klaviersonate im angemessenen Tempo mit anmutigem Anschlag und angenehmer Dynamik. Vielleicht der Schwanengesang von diesem unvergleichlichen Pianisten!
It was one of his last performances he was playing in a good mood - I remember of this evening in the Herkulessaal.

Question de goût, moi je trouve qu'il a un peu trop le nez dans la partition, ce qui amène les gens à le considérer comme la référence, comme mon vieux prof, qui l'a bien connu.
Pour moi ici c'est un peu comme si le plan de voyage était parfait, mais que le train ne démarre jamais. Dommage, j'aime Richter lorsqu'il est brouillon et inspiré
Je préfère Gould, plus investi, plus de cœur à l'ouvrage, à mon sens, au moins pour le premier mvt.
Mais certes moins courageux puisque anti-concert...
