I’ve been a guard my whole life and I’ve just been moved to center my junior year this helps a lot
You'll love it dawg
Same 😭 that’s why I looked up this vid
Same
Exact same situation bro😂
Same but freshman year
Yeah I am a center and i am very unliked by all the backup QBs because i snap so fast that I hurt their hands and the starter is the only one who can consistently get my snaps
eagles fan101 i can relate
I can relate with the traditional non-shotgun snap, the starter can get it, but the backup always fumbles
Is it normal for a guard to tap out a real center and snaps me the ball, because he does it so fast and wrong to the point that I'm about to Lose my position
I'm a quarterback btw
And that's why they are backups
I’ve been a center for the last 10 years (although I’ll probably be moved soon because I’ve become too small and I’m getting quicker) and I know most all of this and I’m consistent in my snaps and I can say this video is very helpful
Yo any updates its been two years
@@jnsbing got skinny. I’m a senior now and a linebacker. Completely forgot about this video
@@michaelhutchins4698 how are you doing
@@michaelhutchins4698 I’m planning to become center any tips?
I’m a center and I’m unliked by backup qbs😂😂 Becuase I snap so fast
With backup QBs I throw floaters they hate me just as much
@Jonah Odom practice duh
😂🤣
Same bruh
We have 2 back up QBs and they hate me aswell bc apparently I get in the way of them trying to make a pass during games lmao
This helped, I switched to dead ball snap and it works. Before I did it the conventional way and it would go over the quarterback's head.
I play center and most of the time as soon as I snap I start chopping my feet to have a higher advantage, but it also depends on if I'm run blocking, pass blocking, or etc.
I fumbled a snap 5 times in practice my coach made me learn to dead ball then snap it 200 time
Same not even kidding
Thank you I will be playing center today in my game I’m never played center before
The Best style how to snap... So perfect... Thank you so much 💪👍
This was great I email about doing something like this earlier today glad to see vids like this
Got put from Freshman to Jv cause of you my first couple week of football thx
This is my second year playing football and I just started playing center and this video will help out a ton
Yo im a center too thx for the vid👍🏼👍🏼🏈🏈✌️... is that seatgeek ad scripted bc it seems every youtuber says the same thing😂😂✌️
This is my first year of varsity and I will have to say it’s been challenging. But this video is very helpful thank you
Thank you this will help me get better
So I’m a special teams center for punting and I weigh 102 pounds this helped a lot 🏈🏈
I needed this
I've played offensive tackle for the past two years and coach wants to move me to center for my senior year so these will definitely be useful
Dude, thank you for the vid, I am a 5th quarter center right now, so I really think this will help
I am a center and this past year I got pretty good and consistent at snapping I agree with everything in this video
who else looked up “how to snap” and got this. RUclips is like a genie, you gotta be specific with your requests...
can you do a review for the Nike d-tack 6.0 plz.
Thanks for the video I'm starting football for my junior high and coach said I have potential but I got to work on my snaps
Idk if u will see this but it's all muscle memory. Just keep doing it and once you've got 500ish snaps it will be natural. If u are new to center I recommend u practice snapping without stepping at first even tho he said to step cause it's more important to get a good snap than a good block
thanks dude I'm center and I've been looking for videos how to snap thanks a lot dude
im a sophmore getting an opportunity to play varsity who didn’t have a freshman season, worried a bit but excited
Thank you
Like these tips
This helps alot
Why am i watching this?
I am a right guard
Dark Zeus shit I’m always prepared you never know maybe they’ll throw in for a couple plays
You maybe become a Center in the Future.
I was a guard and had the same mindset until this summer when my coach said I’m the center and I need to learn to snap.
I used to be
Ay i used to be a guard and I watched this video. And now im a center and this video made it 10x easier
Gonna switch to center thx for these tips
I'm am going into my sophomore year and want to start varsity this is going to help. I have never played center and was always a guard. There is a kid from Cali that moved here and is a lot bigger and strong but I haven't seen him play. Any more tips
I’m a receiver and I still watch this
@Hareez Saiyed They are not valid targets though
I’m watching this and the pressure tip is really needed because I overshot three snaps after the starter got injured and lost my team a drive. The pressure got to my head and I forgot the technique of my near perfect shotgun snaps.
I’m in 8th grade and I’m a center this helped a lot thanks
Same
same.
Same
I know this is old but this really helped me thx
I'm in 7th grade going to 8th, I'm 5'2 150lbs and I want to play DE and OT or OG i'm a terrible snapper so this rly helped, thanks!
Wow no offense but you are a really small lineman, I'm a 7th grade DE/NG and in 5'10 1/2 and 190 lbs... and I'm one of the smaller kids.
@@gavinbarkley3994 u know he's a sophomore now he probably grew a lit
@@ihyIsaiah. true and not everyone is blessed with good genes sometimes
Im playing my center for my school for the 2nd year and i snap perfect in practice with my head down but i hate to do that because of high risk of neck injury and when im put my head up i snap too low or to high
Bro you need to start reacting to the top OL prospects highlights please
Thank you I have a game today I am very nevers this is my first time playing center
Hi I’m new here but could you make a video about how to shotgun snap without looking in between your legs because I do that for I can make a good snap to the qb but when I left my head up most of the time I get blown over please this will help me keep my spot as center
Can you please do a walk through of you snaping the ball.
So I'm a center and I can usually snap it pretty perfect maybe a bit high at times, but then I get a bigger man put in front of me I get nervous and snap it way too high. Any tips for maybe not being so nervous? This is my first season of football and I'm really the only linemen built guy that can shotgun it decently but I just get way too nervous.
Just experience bro. Everyone used to be there at some point. The more you do it, the less it feels that way.
QB's cadence shy on their first games
Front 7's jump their blitzes too early or too late
Shit happens but yeah, things will be better
I’m the same way. I snap fine until I get nervous
Thank you hope this works I’m playing center usually I play right guard but my centers is unexpectedly not going to be at semi finals he’s going to church fund raiser so I’m playing center I used to play center last year I’m very rusty so I’ll update u tomorrow and ps I got one practice to practice snapping and my practice was really bad
Update?
I'm 5'10, 165 lbs, freshman, and the only reason why I became a lineman was because I could snap the ball.
Hey man, can you do a video about your top 5 or 10 pro lineman?
I’m a Senior and this is my first time playing football and I’m starting center. I’m ok at snapping but I def could be better
I am a disabled dad but i want to help my son become a better center if anyone can comment and help me with a few tips that i can show my 10 yr old son would be really helpful. Its his favorite position to play
What does he need help with
Keep his eyes up, so he can see who he has to hit after he snaps the ball. You sound like a good Dad
how do u get more spiral in shotgun snap
I’m trying to be a center in jr high
im a freshman but I'm a backup center on variety best of the best just looking for tips and tricks to be better
Can you use the dead ball snap if you start varsity center
matt turner productions ask your coach
Omg i need this i just got a match yesterday and i fucked up 3 times because i schotgun to high
Where is the link of the dead snap
Hey are linemen gloves good for centers?
Not really
MR STARK I DONT FEEL SO GOOD
How do a center adjust the ball from going right from a right handed snapper
??
I'm a center and I have a problem where the snap is always to the left so coach has me at like a 45 degree angle to the left to snap it
Same but always goes left
Returning to my 2nd season and very nervous 😅😅😂
I got the exact same nerves before every season for 11 years 😂
Yo juego de centro saludos
I’m trying to be a center and how do you throw the ball behind you?
Put it flat on the ground and try to find a comfortable grip. Then just swipe it behind you then your coach will help you out with the rest.
im the only center on my team and my snaps are not the best hope this helps me
Got any tips for me?
Anyone got tips for when it rains I have trouble snapping when it rajns
Kevin Trieu I guess being a sporty towel, maybe don’t use glove
my problem is my hands getting wet or the ball getting wet and the ball just rolls, had to quit deadsnapping because of it
Do a long snapping video
I'm a center but I'm new I have never played football
Have fun!!
i cant keep my wrist straight please help!!
make sure you are lining up with the ball directly under your nose do not over extend your arm it will make your wrist move line up your body to be directly over the ball nose in line so it is one fluid movement
Thank you so much, our original center got “fired” so I am now in his spot (I was a tackle) so yea I needed it lol
Bro I’ve been center for 6 years and I know how to hold the ball now but I had perfect snaps every time
What if your hands are small so its hard to snap
Can dead bell be used doing shotgun
Yep
I am a middle school center in 7th grade and in shotgun I like to grip the ball at the very top.
i have to use both hands beaus my hands are to small
It's hard to do it with one hand and your hands are the side of a newborn baby
When I snap it’s good I’m trying to learn how to snap and don’t get beat
Bro im litteraly 130 pounds and 5 foot 8 at 13 years old and I'm playing center lol, thanks for the video dude
Bro I'm a freshman I'm 6'5 and 400 pounds
same but 140 pounds lol
@@luckybro7774 140 🤣🤣🤣
@@redneck1443 exactly lol but we’re missing players. I’m still not that bad
@@luckybro7774 yeah I believe your good its normally the guys that are 140 or less that are great offensive or defensive lineman
My snaps are honestly perfect it’s just I need to be better at read a defence
How do you spiral
Terrance Riley-Smith just like throwing a football!! Just between my legs lol!🚊
@@SaintzCA sure
Thank you I am so terrible
I got moved from LG to center
I moved from rg
Bro same as the comment below me
I’m a center and I hate it😐, 10/10 do not recommend it
My snaps are too slow and we have a qb 4,11
W
I’m a center and I snap to high
I just snap the ball to trees to practice
My hands are to small for a 1 hand I just drop it behind me
Gloves!
Does anyone else have a good relationship with all they're qb's because they play center
I do
Funny right after u snap u get smacked by the noseguard I learned the hard way
I am a center and my quarterback sucks
lol I can only snap good with my starting QB, whenever it’s the backup it’s trash
i had the same problem..
Our coaches tell us to snap deadball
Bro center harder you got to snap the ball but at the same time move to your gap
Like 95% of this video but As a quarterback, that dead ball snap is AWFUL. Too slow, weirder to catch, you actually have to take your eyes off the defense to catch the ball... if you're a center just learn to do a 5 yard spiral it really shouldnt be that difficult
No matter how difficult it’s gets you’ll never catch me snapping dead ball
First
Ur the sack.. remember that red in uskas
am her son
You don't know what God is doing but someday you will know repent and turn away from your sin and follow Jesus Christ and put your faith in him and he loves you and so do I no matter what your going through God is right there with you no matter what you did or do he loves you
To much talking.
watch our new stuff we have come a long way
