Hey everyone! I wanted the video today to really try and simulate some more common gameplay occurrences rather than just having godlike flanking clips so the tips could be more relatable to a wider range of player. It's not like 20 man flanks grow on trees. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you soon!

Another tip : Don't greed. A flank is a flank because it create confusion and an hard time for ennemies to concentrate in one direction. The benefit of you flanking the enemy stop as soon as you're dead. Tactically, you get more benefit for your team just spraying bullet from an off angle and annoying ennemies, pinning them down and causing a few hit. Because as long as you're in a position where the enemy can't dislodge you, you prevent them from using cover properly, you prevent them from shooting at the same direction, you're a mobile respawn point for your squad, you force enemies, out of annoyance, to move to you, which usually involve walking into the open etc ...
Even when you go, as showed on the video, for a more stealthy flank were you aim to kill a lot of people, being safe after one or two kill, camping the corpse in case of an attempted revive, or just waiting for angry enemy to come your way can be used more efficiently that just trying to kill as many as you can before dying.

It feels disheartening when I see other famous youtubers get these insane kill streaks and then I compare my progress to theirs.
For context I used to be at the bottom of the score board and with a 1.6 kd. I started implementing cover, reading the map, playing more smart and passively, understanding my weapons fire rate and range, I went from bottom tier to ~ top 10 on score board and I consistently would be the best player in my squad. My KD went from 1.6 to 1.99. The issue became is that I wasn't satisfied and wouldn't enjoy playing the game anymore even though my old self would be happy with that progress...
Do you have any advice or tips to tackle this mentality? I used videogames to elevate stress, now its making me more stressed and frustrated...
    Any help would be appreciated

It's a problem almost everyone runs into that is competitve and improves. Your bar for what's "acceptable" raises as your skill climbs.
When I started the game I was around a 1.75 and would get content with a 2.0 game or better. I'm now at a 2.56 kd and I'm not satisfied with anything under a 3.0 now. You either learn to live with the bad games and enjoy the good games or get tilted.

@@DustySticks thanks for taking the time to respond. I guess I really have to live with a bad game since its not sustainable to get tilted. Sometimes I really miss the days where I played for fun, but now I just keep focusing on stats that mean nothing at the end of the day, thanks for the advice friend

@@rise7105 yeah I have those same feelings. When I get annoyed I just get off and I try and play with friends which make it more enjoyable, but yeah seeing your numbers goes up feels good and when you fall below your new standard it doesn't feel good

Don't compare yourself to others, that's an easy way to get discouraged. I've been playing this franchise for over 10 years, I know a thing or two about a thing or two so if you compare yourself to me - or whoever - it's not a healthy comparison. Whenever you begin to improve at the game and begin to understand things more intricately, it's very easy to begin to see the flaws that you didn't see before and it can be tilting. I believe that everybody is competitive in nature, just to varying degrees and since you seem to be very competitive like me, sometimes we need to remind ourselves that video games are just that. If you place your enjoyment of the game too much into your performance, it will become a job. Just trust the process of improving and try to not focus on the results but rather that every round you play, you can get better.

@@DustySticks thats a good way to deal with it. Another way also is to be grateful, it puts stuff in prespective if I have food, shelter and water then why am I even mad?

    1. Get a wallhack or radar hack
    2. Find groups of enemies while knowing exactly how to avoid them.

I like the gunplay and the graphics but i feel this game is missing the battlefield grittiness. I miss the ole days in bf3, It really felt like the maps were in a war torn middle eastern environment. Battlefield 1 and 5 were similar. This game has the Call of duty map style vibe. Not a game killer, Just harder to get immersed

I always wonder who is on the other team when watching clips like these... when I play I always run into people that shoot back. Most "good" clips of kill streaks (on any channel or nearly any FPS game) the person playing rarely gets shot up or shot at. If they do, they take minimal damage and then stim, or wait for the natural regen to fill them up. When I am playing and manage to rank 2-5 I normally have between 9 and 20 kills for the entire match, or I am between 15th and 30th with 15-25 kills. But either way I consistently run into good situations like the ones often clipped for YT vids, and then before the first guy dies, I get shot from behind, or I get shot in the front by 3 or 4 other players that "happen to" turn around, all at the same time, and see me as soon as I pop out shooting...
The other fun times I have in 2042 is when I get sniped by a pistol from 80-200m away... but when I run around with a pistol trying to up my mastery, 4-5 shots hit on someone and then they kill me is the normal result. One of my issues with Battlefield is the sound, I never hear every shot that comes at or hits me, only 1 or 2, so it always feels like I am getting killed by 1 or 2 bullets even after putting 4 or more into the guy killing me. It took me a long time playing BF V before realized the audio just didn't seem to be playing for the rounds that were striking me, but I noticed it pretty soon after I started playing 2042 that the same system was in place.
