I play mostly conquest and personally I've found it's helpful to cap an objective and get out of the zone immediately, especially with outdoor objectives where there's hills and cover around the objective but not inside the radius. If attackers are coming to retake it, it's generally smarter to find a spot outside the zone where you can observe them walking onto the objective and then attack from an odd angle.
I think the most important point you brought up was if people aren't on an objective there's usually a reason, and focusing on eliminating the reason is more important than sneaking onto the objective. It's good to look at the map and find out where people are, but important to look at the map and interpret why people are where they are.
@@TheLizardKing752 damn I wish u did I’m having a hard time on the game my kills and deaths are always close to each other and can never stay alive or find a decent squad
18:30 some people are just shooters some are team players some go for the objective, some are vehicle support. You're a shooter. You do that well. Mouse is OP but not illegal.
You are the first BF2042 creator to mention the "Network up and didn't register a shot". I often have 10-15% more Client hits then Server hits. It is very frustrating because those extra bullets mean everything.
Ha. I barely notice it in 2042. Everything is so blazing fast TTK. But the dsync over on Halo infinite, my other main FPS. It's downright annoying. I feel like the whole game is in question. Like you never know if you are benefiting from it or not.
Funny enough, what i got from that is if you play optimaly you are far more likely to die to a really random snipers than any other single cause. That and you get top score. Great gameplay and comentary
I really enjoy this style video. I like to think I'm a alrite bf player but even watching how u play with iour thought process I can see how I rush around way to much. Keep up the great vids gg bro
I would also like to know this even though I'm on old gen. It seems to me that if there is literally anything happening in a 50m radius it gets completely overlapped or makes it impossible to judge. But for some reason I feel like it can't be any more predictable on a newer gen.
Can you give us your audio settings? "I heard footsteps" happens a lot in this gameplay which allows for your survivability. Not just that, you're clearly a Great player but that is something besides skill you can help with. You are hearing footsteps with accuracy and clarity which are leading to kills. Thanks :D
"If my team is not in the objective, playing the objective is only gonna get me killed." - now I've got to repeat that to myself constantly. Can't tell how many good KDs I lost by trying to take the objective alone.
I feel like battlefield should make the game where you can’t change your character because that just adds a lot of stuff on the map I think it’s too much sometimes. They should make you choose one for the game and only change your gun option if you die
Interesting video and definitely helpful but I dont agree with not ptfo. I am a top 2% pfto player. The problem is literally every player on incompetent teams like this either doesn't want to ptfo, or they must be hallucinating the objective in another location. I get why you're doing it, but like I said too many players want to play like this. It burns tickets, loses games, and drives me nuts. There's no reason, I as a Season 3 player with 1.0 KD, should be in the top 2% ptfo. It's the same in Rush. Players just want to kill for an hour until their ticket count reaches the double digits, then move on the objective. When literally multiple times i can just pop smoke and activate the objective myself. It's at that point, when players see someone ptfo, that's when they will consider joining in, same as why you didn't ptfo. Like I said I totally understand the guide and it's useful for me in certain situations, but I don't think this video should be the bible textbook for new players, because it already kind of is and doesn't work.
I'm not saying to not PTFO. I'm saying there are multiple ways to play the objective that do not involve throwing yourself on the objective and dying repeatedly. Watching for when your teammates are in position for an objective push is much better than throwing yourself repeatedly on the objective trying to break it when your teammates are not around to capitalize off your actions. Can it be done? Yes, but it's not always efficient.
@@CatalystHD Sorry Catalyst, i didnt want to sound ungrateful or like i know better. I agree with you, i think these are super helpful tips (for me in particular). What i mean to say is that i think these are more advanced tips, for players like yourself who know the maps really well. Know the spawn points, the routes, the rat locations etc. I think that's the only important thing i'm really trying to communicate, is that if you don't have this knowledge, a newer player might try to play like this and go the complete wrong way about it, and i think that happens in a lot of games. I think it takes much more experience and skill to know how to setup and protect your team for ptfo, than the average new player looking for guides has. For me, this is definitely where I'd like to take my game next, because I had played several dozen hours on each map and kind of know the enemy strategies.
I watch this and immediately think, damn I wish I could be that could.......then I realise the amount of time it must take and think thank goodness I'm not!!
Good gameplay , but most maps of 2042 arent made for tactial choice and map knowledge. In BF1 etc you could outsmart the enemy but on this maps its just a running simulator . Discarded is by far the worst map in my opinion 😅
Are you for real using they/them when speaking about a character in a video game ? The butchery of the English language and basic common sens is bloody enough as is there is no need to entertain that sort of degeneracy. This farce has been going on long enough it is sad to see young talented people such as yourself applying political ideas straight into their speech, words and meaning matters, Sundance is not a they, she's a she. Outside of me being tired of liberal ideas infiltrating every aspect of life you are running an amazing channel filled with practical advice, you are of great help and i wish you the best going forward.

Honestly the kind of shenanigans I prefer in my BF games.
Thanks again for the Blasco tips! Trying her more aggressively really helped

Wanna know what I learned? I learned that you are considerably better than me, at video games...
Nice vid, thanks for posting.
The problem with this game is the lack of team game comms.. if you could communicate to everyone more strategic teamwork
Sure, then you are accused of whining.

How could walk on the wall like that?
It's just a spot where the hitbox on the wall extends out a bit and you can walk on it.
"my team is not on the objective" LOL!!! So if you all have the same mindset, then NOBODY will be on the objective. Typical BF mentality.
