I share four things you can expect to experience/ go through while doing a Christian fast - this includes but is not limited to the Daniel fast as well! @@Mslainey I would say there isnt a yes or no answer. You can use it but it may be a stronger fast without it. That is because you want to spend as much time with God during this time as you can. Remember the Goal of the fast is to step away from things that you may be giving more attention to than Gods word. To refrain from anything that you may be attached to that isn’t him. Now if your challenge this time around is only food that is ok. Just make sure to give an abundant amount of time to God and his word.
Currently doing a 30 day Daniel fast from certain foods & social media. I am on day 6 and one thing I noticed is that my dreams are a lot more vivid and memorable. Dreams are how God speaks to me personally so before the fast, I found myself not remembering or even recalling my dreams but now I can!
Wow keep going!! Don’t give up it will be so worth it in the end!

I did the 21 day Daniel fast in February this year and I became very spiritually sensitive. I also grew so much closer to God and received clarity for my future.

My pastor always say, u start small with the Fast u just don't jump into the long ones.
So start with the 3 days and go up and try not to study that u are on a fast cause I find it throw ya off mentally.
I would start a fast real good and then all of a sudden the enemy would start putting all kinds of things in my mind and I would come off the fast.
Aww sis, what a powerful vessel you are, I'm doing a fast right now, and I felt like some of my expectations are not met yet, the attacks are a lot, is getting overwhelming, but your prospective is everything, I've never thought about the fact that I'm planting seeds at the moment, and in due time they will flourish. At the start of my fast at the beginning of the month, I've got a revelation from God, but I've been struggling to hold on to that promise, but after watching this, I feel more at peace, it might not manifest right now, but chains are definitely breaking in this fasting season. I’m very thankful for this video. Every time I try and get closer to God, my marriage goes through a rough patch. I started a 21 day Daniel Fast and my husband told me he wants a divorce out of nowhere. I’m truly believing in God to restore whatever is going on. The enemy is trying to get my focus away from God and I’m trying to remember that.

two weeks on the daniel fast (one more week to go!) even though I had just a few slip ups, I'm proud of myself! God has began to reveal Himself to me more and more, the Holy Spirit won't leave me alone child!!!! And I am so thankful. So humbled by this experience. To all who are fasting, keep going! Tonight I am starting my fast,I had a major breakdown.I literally fell on my knees cried and prayed.I just felt God was pulling me to do a fast.So, here I am.Im guessing during the fast we are able to look at videos and music only with God in it.
Hi Melody, your first Daniel fast video about how you got the job having never worked in that field before is what encouraged me to get into the Daniel fast. I did one in the beginning of 2021 and this year has been amazing. My marriage, my business are on a beautiful growth pattern that I fully credit to the Lord. interesting bc I watched your Daniel fast yesterday + prayed about whether to do the Daniel fast or water fast 20 minutes ago and I open RUclips and here you are - talking about the Daniel fast which I already felt confirmed in my spirit as well as God confirming it early this morning.

Thank you Melody for this. Most of the time when I'm fasting God speaks to me through verses, most times i see a certain verse more than 3 times a day randomly, other times i get a few words of the verse down on the inside of me and i have to search the full verse and it always speaks to me. God does surely speak during fasting.

I started the Daniel Fast about two weeks and on the sixth day, i allowed the devil to destroy this new relationship i'm having with God through a friend. One thing i realized during the 6 days was that, my dreams were vividly clear and I could remember most of them unlike before. Definitely going on this journey again by God's Grace.

Hi Melody!! Thanks so much for this! (Melodi is one of my daughter's names by the way!) I am currently on day 13 of my fast. I started June 1 and the devil has really been on my trail!!! But God is much bigger than him!!! I am receiving some breakthroughs and some clarity on some things. I even tried some of your recipes from the Daniel fast video you posted. I had been putting it off for so long and finally I decided to go all the way and commit to it despite what some of my family thinks, feels, or says. I am thankful for this opportunity. God speaks to me in my dreams all the time and the dreams during this fast have been interesting. Trying to figure what they mean. You are truly my encouragement, thank you soo much!!!

Thank you so much Melody. I am a new subscriber and this video and video about how the Daniel fast changed your life is a real inspiration and encouragement to me. I am doing the Daniel fast for my healing breakthrough and for my Christian journey that I recently started again but it didn't felt meaningful or directional until I watched those 2 videos. Im currently on my day 3 of my 21 Daniel Fast... One thing I experience through my past Daniel Fast was influx of dreams.. Bible tells us that God speaks to us through dreams and vision.. And when Im on my Daniel Fast and even after my fast I get strange symbolic dreams ... But I want to say thank you for this video I was just in tears... Repenting and being thankful to my Lord for repositioning me into His desire for my life🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hi! Thanks for this! I’m on my last week of the Daniel fast and today I have been feeling so heavy I my spirit and sad. I’m praying through this though. Blessings to all!
I fasted last week and the enemy really tried me. I wasn't able to pray as much. I read the Word but I feel like I kinda failed this fast because last month I fasted for a week too and I definitely experienced some spiritual growth but this time I feel like nothing really happened😟

I hear you. Sometimes when I fasted I didn't feel energized even after I fasted, so the next time I just fasted with no t.v. shows or 🎥, I like to watch. Try a fast again but just do it differently change your approach. Remember its about the time you spend with God not the fast itself. The fast is like a compass, your going to navigate your way to God. He loves you, so together, you got this!
God don't work on our time, just because you didn't feel a certain way after fasting, doesn't mean that it didn't work. Don't lose hope
Do not be discouraged, God is silently doing something in your life

And to answer your question at the end, what I’ve experienced was that in giving up a good thing for a short time, God had so much more He wanted to fill my life & my heart with that never would’ve happened had I not done the fast. 🤯😭😍
I needed this so much! I am on my 5th days of a planned 21 day Daniel Fast and was so ready to make it 7 days only! But after watching this video im aware that that is letting the enemy win and that I need to stay strong and seek God whenever I feel like im struggling💜

I’m currently on a fast from food and social media during a certain time during the day for 30 days. I can hear God more clearly and I’m only on day 5. The devil has been attacking me by making me more hungry during this time period but I always pray through it and the Lord has been helping me out tremendously

During my fast. I just got a new which after searching for over a year. I didn’t do a good job with the fast, I have eating disorders and tend to binge and the fast was triggering this bad behavior. However I got full clarity of how I had wasted years on new age stuff. And now i’m speaking about this. I feel just to get this perspective it’s huge for me. I wonder how much negativity I attached because of new age behaviors. I will continue to do fasting but eat at normal meals just healthy, because I can’t not eat all day then stuff my face at night. I feel gained weight instead. I am praying multiple times and my view of Jesus has changed.

I did the Esther 3day fast My temptations were too many. They all started towards the end of the second day..... and third day. I cried because I wasnt expecting this. Its was already hard and now all these temptations. Well I went through all 3 days, but one thing i can say for sure is that i was calm after the fast.
