So, why buy the tc-helicon playlive vs playlive acoustic, if still only focusing on vocal effects? It seems the acoustic just has more features for the same price. Thanks,
Umm what about the TC-Helicon VoiceLive 3, VoiveLive 3 Extreme and the TC-Helicon VoiceLive Touch 2 which are better than the outdated TC models you featured in this video?
I read someone's criticism of the Helicon voicelive 2 and am interested in anyone's response as I know very little about the unit. It read as follows "The effects are very cool, as everyone says. However, this box has no true bypass, so it is always in the signal path of both your guitar and your voice. The problem is, that even with all effects off, this thing kills your sound. It Destroys the tone, eliminates sibilance, and makes a mush out of your sound. Removing this from my signal path was like taking off a pair of scratched sunglasses, or like taking the cotton out of my ears. If you don"t believe it, A/B it.
I’ve used all of these and as a guitarist/singer in a rock band- I rarely use harmonies- I build presets per song, distortions , drives, reverbs , delays, occasional auto tune. Of ALL the units out there the most overlooked is my favorite- the vocalist LIVEFx I had the tc helicon- good, but so complex and pricey- I had the vocalist live 4 which I loved but the plastic buttons wore out For only 150$ I bought the vocalist livefx. It has actual lexicon reverbs- metal buttons/housing. The only downside is looping is fairly challenging compared to the tc heliconvoicelive /vocalist 4 But I don’t use that- I’m able to make my band sound live like it does in tbr studio- with an INCREDIBLE 150$ piece of gear-
instead of all these `use-once` gimmicks why not just have the form factor of the roland vt-4 but with reverb/delay/chorus and most importantly DE-ESSER on the front!?
#1 is G-XT not . EQ .... nice review but don’t think actually you really tried some of these pedals. And have investigated the other options. That better. Like boss ve1.
I would like some toy that has already voices, for example, I am a man, but I'd like to sing some woman and men songs, for example, Madonna, Cranberries, Cold play, Alanis Morrisette. Is there any vocal processor that has "ready to use" presets like these?
1. TC-Helicon EQ - geni.us/onmdk
2. TC-Helicon Harmony Singer 2 - geni.us/hcJAgp
3. BOSS VE-8 -geni.us/XCdj9Z8
4. TC Helicon Voice Live - geni.us/hv6r
5. TC-Helicon VoiceLive 2 - geni.us/JiWgqw
6. Boss VE-5 - geni.us/asJUBvt

This is an unfortunate video. I'd really like to hear examples, not just watch an info mercial.

You know, adding chapters would’ve gone a long way towards me using your Amazon links.
Haha, here are vocal harmonizers, but no samples. Hilarious.

Tc helicon c1
Boss Ve-8 you can control all settings in the vocal.
Almost all other top vocal processor vids include the Zoom V6. Explain the omission

There a way can connect any of these to Xbox one or PS4
not completely certain, but i’m sure you could plug one with a usb into the port on the console
:)
Good info!
