Bro it's getting to the point you could make a compilation of Grubby's questions immediately being answered by his hero, it's getting creepy how good the timing is
All Huskar players are feast or famine. They giga-feed most of the time but man, when they pop off it's a glory to behold. Only other heroes that live and die on the edge like that are Puck and maybe Morphling.
I really like A-Z learning of Grubby! I have never played Dota2(played a lot of Dota1)! but it is kinda perfect and fun! I can believe why people say negative thing about it!
welcome to dota its extremely toxic game but its extremely fun thats why ppl still play it .. just mute everyone if ur new cause many smurf and learn few simple heroes first and build up ur foundation like last hitting, warding and the few fundamentals
Keep playing this game, Grubs. We need your positive aura for our community. I don't care about how good or bad you playing it, I need your aura to survive the wilderness of this game.
Grubby's mentality and positivity is magnetic! Within a short time he has not only impressed DoTA community but also stalwarts like Dendi, Ceb, Gorgc (more to follow soon) visiting his stream and see him grow. Great job Grubby!
People always say SMURF SMURF SMURF but seriously, you can be a low skill player who is good at a specific hero but doesn't like only playing that hero. Like I have an 80% SF winrate but I play him like once every 2 or 3 months lol. The husk is clearly mechanically skilled but plays clowny kills > objectives dota. He either religiously plays Huskar and throws enough games to stagnate his rating, or he is just really good at Huskar but doesn't pick him enough to actually have it affect his rating. Another factor is that in low skill games Huskar, Ursa, Juggernaut, sniper etc are all heroes that simply work well against bad players, because they punish poor positioning, bad focus, etc. They test the universal fundamental Dota skills of opponents, and basically take FAR more energy to counter than they do to play.
ive been watching you for wc3 nostalgia for 3 years now, and i even got super into wc3 mm this year. its heart warming to see you play dota2 now, seeing as though warcraft is the game that got me into dota 1 in the first place !!
Dying on offlane early game at low lvl to kill enemy can often be better than having to walk to base for regen. Killing yourself on neutrals for that is also not always a bad idea. The time it takes you to walk without boots and heal at the fountain can be far far worse than just dying and getting back with a tp or boots you buy So SF doing that was actually very good (intentional or not). Also when you are playing a char like clock in an offlane, SF has no business pinging you for taking last hits, especially aince he is missing them, since he is not carry on safe lane. His pick has already semi ruined the game and offlanes main idea is to not allow enemy safe lane to farm as they want, but SF plays like he is pos 1 instead of 3. You were actually playing very well for a new player as clock in pos4
well done with clockwerk early game! I was impressed with some of your cogs / hookshots! Late game it's tough cause it's difficult for you to position with the way huskar was engaging in base. At the end the best scenario would be you be behind WD and ogre to hook / cog them as they were the stuns, but that was near impossible as people kept blocking your path Huskar did nothing to call you all to fight together... some of those 1v5s were stupid and he was just trying to show off. In doing so he gave team 1.5-2k gold just by him dying. Regardless, great game!
Just an FYI :) Rocket is 90% of the time more useful as a vision tool than DMG, unless ur team is farming or the game is in a passive stage and u can push out lanes. Otherwise it is the best tool for highground vision, enemy jungle and Roshan, also ofc as the guide says, u use it also to make ur hooks easier for u with vision :)
Core tends to be mad if you steal their cs in early game, ESPECIALLY shadow fiend, since his skill require him to kill a unit so he gets stack that increase his attacks, which allowing him better at csing the more he has. Now add that to the first one, messing with sf cs probably will made him 2x mad compare to other heroes lol
One of my favorite heroes to play, very fun indeed. It's very fun having global presence with flare and hook and you just know you're annoying the enemy players so much with his kit. Timbersaw is similar feeling to play, he's a lot more mobile, but equally fun.
Oh man my favorite hero. Never played him in Wc3 dota cause I thought he looks stupid but his voice actor won me over in Dota 2. This hero can start a team fight die and still say it did something.
hey, just in case you don't know this already (since the videos are behind the stream) - you can buy TP scrolls just by right-clicking the icon at the bottom right corner
clockwerk is one of my favourite heroes in the game, it helps that he also counters tinker, one of my least favourites. his "in your face" type of play style is just so fun.
Hey Bro hope you see this, thanks a lot for the Warcraft 3 guides and over explains, also all your videos are really cool and entertaining keep those cool vibes
Herald skill range is much wider than people think. You can get the worst of the worst with some actually good player that just aren't good at the macro and teamplay part of dota but have very high individual skill
You want fountain snipes, you already had Ancient Apparition Is bottle not a thing anymore? Last I played, clockwerk was a perma roamer with bottle at 6
@@Denden-mx9gl if u see , other players were a lot weaker than huskar , he was clearly smurfing using a new and and queuing with his noob friends just to stomp enemy noobs and worst of all trash talking and bullying enemy for no reason
Kill bounty is based not only on kill streak but also networth. So if you have much higher networth/level than enemies, you give more gold to them when killed
Can you turn off the chat for the RUclips videos please? Imo it is very distracting when something is always moving on the screen. It is just way too much spam and 99% backseating that you ignore fortunately very professionally 😉
If you want to learn Invoker, I recommend Sumiya youtube channel. He is not pro player, but he's been dedicating himself as invoker player for 10k+ hours. Many of invoker players learn from him, sometimes he gives us some tips on the laning phase, combo phase or item meta.
Try using legacy keys Grub. It's more fun that way and since you're a wc3 player it should technically be easy for you. For instance Rocket flare = R, Cogs = C. EVery hero has a different legacy hotkey.

I really hope you will keep playing dota in the future, your positivity really put the game and the community better since ever! Never change my man.
I could not agree more
Much appreciated, I'm having an absolute blast with the game so far :D
Grubby Will save the Dota community
Its a waste of talent. u guys should play games with actual good action combat and social systems like SMITE Arena

Batrider and clock are so fun to play and their voice lines are also very energetic they sound like they're having the time of their lives
I can't get enough with the way you response backseating chat 🤣🤣
That no look 360 hook shot was really nice 😊
I’m genuinely so happy to slowly watch someone discover the passion I’ve held since 2011. It’s just so great. Thanks grubbs
I am not sure if this was the Clockwerk episode or the Huskar episode
All Huskar players are feast or famine. They giga-feed most of the time but man, when they pop off it's a glory to behold. Only other heroes that live and die on the edge like that are Puck and maybe Morphling.
There is one thing that might be better than Grubby is playing Dota2: MaDFroG is playing Dota2. You were my 2 heroes of W3)
dude get the clockwerk taunt. It's exactly what you are thinking.
One of the best thing that happened in the Dota community in a long-time. Much love m8 (:
