For the last couple years I've been seeing large unmarked white buses on the highway and often stopped in town, usually near the motels. These buses are the kind used for interstate travel, and they always have very dark tinted windows. When the sun is low and the bus is backlit, the silhouettes of passengers are visible - these buses are definitely not empty! But when they stop in town, I've NEVER seen any passengers outside the bus, the way you might with a typical tour bus. Movements of people is happening without being witnessed. Super sus!
It's an ongoing issue all up & down the West Coast from SD to LA, from LA to Riverside/San Bernardino, from Riverside/SB to Orange County (the O.C.), all the way inland to Bakersfield, from Bakersfield to Fresno, Malibu & Oxnard to Santa Cruz/Monterrey, from Santa Cruz/Monterrey to San Jose, from San Jose to San Francisco, San Francisco to Oakland, Oakland to Stockton, from Stockton to Sacramento, Sacramento up to Redding in far far Northern Cali & finally from Santa Rosa CA to Eureka CA. You could even include Indio/Palm Springs/El Centro in SoCal. It's virtually everywhere in California now. Drugs, homelessness, illegal immigration is running rampant. Been hearing horror stories about Portland Oregon & Seattle Washington too. I'm sure it's as far East into Yakima, The Tri Cities, Walla Walla & Spokane Washington as well. I've heard it's Cancerous all throughout the entire state of Oregon, into Medford & Eugene. It's even made it's way into VANCOUVER, CANADA. Watched a couple of YT videos about how bad it's gotten in Vancouver, of all places. In Arizona from Tucson to Phoenix. And then also from Yuma to Las Vegas Nevada. I'm sure Reno is having it's "fair share" of issues as well. Seen some pretty bad videos of Denver & Salt Lake City too. Austin, Texas is pretty bad today as well. Can't imagine Albuquerque in New Mexico being any better. The West is in pretty bad shape. And then you've got places like Kensington in Philadelphia on the East Coast. Places in Jersey & some spots in NYC has to be pretty bad. I hear Baltimore, Detroit & Chicago (Chiraq) got some tough places. Minneapolis has been on the news more than enough times. Saint Louis, Missouri is in SHAMBLES & I hear Memphis is doing pretty badly. America is crumbling & dying slowly. Looks like our "Fate" might be that of ROME & BABYLON. Serious question: America demographics are okay, but not at replacement levels - in the past how have we dealt with this? Immigration. We only have 330 million and the Boomers are retiring and not spending - we used to bring the best and the brightest, but they have other options now - like Switzerland. Generation Z is small and not inclined to have children - I am against illegal immigration, but America is going to have to bring in immigrants to keep the economy going - that's what we have always done. I live in San Diego. Specifically in Nestor, couple miles from the border. Things have gotten a little better. Ever since the Supreme Court ruled cities have the right to ban sleeping on public spaces, the city wasted no time to start cleaning up the streets. My wife and I went to San Diego and stayed at a nice hotel in the gas lamp area as it was recommended by friends and coworkers for our anniversary weekend. We felt unsafe walking on the streets after dark. There are tons of homeless on the streets and they are actively harassing people. We got asked for money repeatedly and when we refused they yelled at us. The city is cleaner than Sacramento but the homeless is out of control.

Although, we're starting to resemble Soddom and Gomorrah. Every last one of the most powerful empires throughout history has fallen. No empire reigns indefinitely. Each one had to crumble sometime or another. It's inevitable.
SD was nice while it lasted. Left in '09 and don't miss it.

Serious question: America demographics are okay, but not at replacement levels - in the past how have we dealt with this? Immigration. In a capitalist society you need consumers - India has more than 1.3 BILLION people same with China - How can America compete? We only have 330 million and the Boomers are retiring and not spending - we used to bring the best and the brightest, but they have other options now - like Switzerland. Generation Z is small and not inclined to have children - I am against illegal immigration, but America is going to have to bring in immigrants to keep the economy going - that's what we have always done. Now factor in climate change.

As a former California resident who moved in his 20s to California for college and spent a decade there, it's sad to see what California has become. I got back once a year but it's not the same place because it's over run with mentally ill drug addicts and while I believe people should have a chance at the American dream if they want to come and work for it we should not give away resources to people of other nations before we invested it in citizens first who pay taxes and are born here it's ridiculous.

Things have gotten a little better. Ever since the Supreme Court ruled cities have the right to ban sleeping on public spaces, the city wasted no time to start cleaning up the streets. Of course there are still people out there living on the streets, but it has definitely improved from the dire state it was in.
Border crossings have significantly dropped as well ever since President Biden put asylum restrictions with executive action and that’s also true nationwide.
