Most of the engineers provide such a footing without beam. But providing beam will transfer the load from column to beam then to slab footing.

What about for uniaxial? Column is on one side of the footing at mid length.

Your load distribution on soil os not uniform, it is just like your foot , look load under heal nd toa witch are not uniform.
