Nice video Alux I prefer the ancient sculptures from Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greek and Ancient Rome in the museums. I think they are more beautiful. Those new expensive modern sculptures are ugly.
I'm sorry but I couldn't hear the video because the laughter from Michelangelo, Bernini, Antonio Corradini, Carrier-Belleuse, Ben Victor, Chauncey Bradley Ives, Damian Company Y Estany, Giambologna, Giovanni Dupre, John Thomas, Leon Richman, Lorenzo Bartolini, Luo Li Ring, Marie-Paule Deville Chabrolle, Pierre Loison and Philippe Faraut kept ringing in my ears so loudly that it drowned out the audio! Sorry 'bout that!
The only one that was was worth it's value or even underpriced was the Lioness statue. Just the fact that such an intricate and beautiful statue was made during the time when the wheel was invented is just mind-blowing 🤯
its no accident that such crap is presented as art, its from the same muppets who present stinking ugly hairy men as women! perverted sick culture which completely takes the piss out of human perfection.
I look at most of these and my first thought is “A lot of people are spending $$$$$$ on stuff that looks like kindergarten art projects”. Compared to Michelangelo and Bernini, the majority of this stuff is yard sale junk.
The fact people pay these prices for something that was cast in metal is amazing. Like i get the design behind it but its cast that doesnt take skill. Just a forge and a mold
I can in no way justify the exorbitantly high prices, but you are paying for a lot more than just a block of formed metal. Also the fact that its existed through time, artist names, cultures etc
No, not true. Your view is that of a poor person who will never understand anything about the rich, or about art. You have to guess at when anything over ten bucks means.
For me michael Angelo and Leonardo D. SCULPTURES WORKS is the most beautiful and expensive ones very!! Expensive! and I will love to own one, any work from those icons!
i am an artist and i have to say this is really madness,,,,,,and very over priced ! the only one that really dazzles is the lioness, the others are really over priced frenzy !
So might find this offensive but most of the modern day scupltures don't look good or can even be described as beautiful. It is a personal opinion but art prices are more about the artist and the significance of the art rather than the beauty or visual appeal of the art itself. Hence most of the expensive art pieces look like they don't deserve their price
Very Cool, I am a painter man with several favorites, I do not shy away from sculptures though because the craft is attractive. I can not say one is above the other because I would not turn down the opportunity to buy an Edgar Degas sculpted ballerina and I sure wouldn't shy away from a Camille Pissarro painting of Anything, I like art; from the collection the "back of a woman" was my fav. I of course would want the while set because they all said something different to me, very cool.
Hey Aluxers, do you prefer sculptures or paintings?! 10 Most Expensive Photographs: ruclips.net/video/RcJmYIFbtBk/видео.html 10 Most Expensive Paintings: ruclips.net/video/8c5MlBcWaVY/видео.html 10 Paintings That A Child Could've Done: ruclips.net/video/43tEyS7VuGY/видео.html
these sculptures are so simple.i mean in my house I have billions times complicated sculptures than this.i will never understand why these so called expensive sculptures are so much expensive same goes to modern art expensive paintings.
Clickbait. These sculptures aren't even close to being the most expensive. There's golden sculptures worth billions and they were dated as early as the 1200's.
I prefer realism in sculptures such as those from the 19th Century, these are not to my liking. I do, however, like the Amedeo Modigliani sculpture as it is rare, many of his sculptures were destroyed by the artist and few have surfaced.
Thx. The real price of this beatyful piece of Arts are the amount of money recieved by the alive artist as a sign of appreciation. For those Artist how died befor the Homage , such as A.Modigliani , the related State & The Public are the OWNERS & no more Purchases!!?
if i make a statue and buy it for 10million by my self being an anonymous buyer... sell it for 20million after 5 years to my self being anonymous buyer... resell it my self for another 30 million after 5 year... can i make my statue worth million???
This is Stupid when we have Humanity that’s going hungry for-lack of Work and fairness in this Monetary World, Imagine if we went digital the Still would be even easier for (them to oppress).... Humanity
Koons doesn't even do the sculpting, he just creates the concept and has a team do it for him. I don't really feel like he should even be considered a sculptor if his hands weren't literally in it.
De cand am vazut thumbnail-ul am stiut ca e si Brancusi pe lista! Un geniu artistic, de care noi romanii suntem mandrii!!! (cel putin cei ce stim de el)
These people are making it sound like the rich have good taste or appreciate art. Their greed doesn’t allow it. It’s profit that drives them. They buy art for investment. GREED!
Lol,they must have seen them coming! They’re good but not great! Sadly some people have more money than sense. I’d give room to a couple of them but you can keep the rest.
At these prices, you should have sought a narrator who at least knows how to pronounce the titles, e.g. #2 "Marche" and #1 "Doigt". Cheapens the entire video!
cut the boring intro

Not that it will ever be sold, but David would be number one.
It would cost billions
I prefer Brancusi 10 times over Giacometti !!!
Constantin Brancusi is from Romania :).
Michael Mik Yes!
That statue is precise and beautiffull.
The fact people pay these prices for something that was cast in metal is amazing. Like i get the design behind it but its cast that doesnt take skill. Just a forge and a mold

Rich people will buy anything they deem exclusive even the most rudimentary of pieces. Only because they can that's the most important factor.
No, not true. Your view is that of a poor person who will never understand anything about the rich, or about art. You have to guess at when anything over ten bucks means.
@@jamesaritchie1 i agree with you james.
For me paintings and sculptures are both very beautiful.I think the sculptures the video listed are very artistic beautiful and interesting.
The metal colored tulips are intriguing.
I thought expensive sculptures would make more sense than paintings!!
I prefer sculptures over paintings.
Sculptures and painting borh are true piece of art. Let me say it in phrase." A PAINTING WON'T MATCH YOU, IT MUST BE A STATUE".
But sculptures can not fly.
For me michael Angelo and Leonardo D. SCULPTURES WORKS is the most beautiful and expensive ones very!! Expensive! and I will love to own one, any work from those icons!
Do a video about the most expensive living artists ( not celebrities) please

a famous artist can take a shit and display it in a museum and call it art, and these "cultured" rich people will buy it.. ridiculous
Clickbait. These sculptures aren't even close to being the most expensive. There's golden sculptures worth billions and they were dated as early as the 1200's.
Do you have a record of the most expensive bamboo weaving sculpture ever sold? Thanks
So good👍👍👍
id love to own david by michelangelo and Augustus of Prima Porta
The emperor has no clothes! None of them beautiful.
I prefer realism in sculptures such as those from the 19th Century, these are not to my liking. I do, however, like the Amedeo Modigliani sculpture as it is rare, many of his sculptures were destroyed by the artist and few have surfaced.

Hey Alux, lovely video. Can you make a video on underarmour sports wear?
The Guennel Lioness is ancient. I would buy the Giacometti sculptures at Pier One because they are lovely and worth the store price.
H
Brancusi, Modigliani & Giacometti.
Learn the pronunciation of the artist!

What is the gallery they keep speaking of i can't find it
I AM GON MAKE MORE SCULPTURES THIS YEAR ;D
I'm really annoyed by the premise of this channel (for future millionaires) but their videos are interesting
Absolute JUNK. I could display "The Pointing Man" on my lawn and no one would steal it...and then there was Michelangelo.
Totally agree. The stuff being passed off as “high art” these days disrespects true artisans like Michelangelo and Bernini”.
The Guennol Lioness has long been considered as a representative of PURE EVIL.
Overpriced hilarity..
*HAN SOLO FROZEN IN CARBONITE IS FAR MORE PRECIOUS THAN THESE..*
Modern art is garbage.
...in many cases, it's literal garbage.
*rich people have poor taste in modern art

I feel sorry for the idiots who bought the Jeff Koons, but at least the people didn’t get good art.
Koons doesn't even do the sculpting, he just creates the concept and has a team do it for him.

Most expensive should be Michelangelo's David
David is too expensive and iconic to compare these pieces.
Most historical art of that magnitude are not for sale.
@@ImCerealSuperDuperCerealthen the lioness statue should not for sale.

Art ooookay.....takes all kind I guess
The VERY LARGE BANNER you placed over the ENTIRE video is totally distracting, intrusive, and unnecessary.
Lol,they must have seen them coming! They’re good but not great! Sadly some people have more money than sense. I’d give room to a couple of them but you can keep the rest.
Work on the prununciation of the names. Puh-Lease!
No accounting for taste I suppose, I'd take a Bernini any day...
Modigliani!!
Millionaires and Billionaires in a single sentence with "hard earned money" is a farce.
