Important to mention this project started as a re-case black magic pocket 6k then they start adding a lot of peripheral and integrating other systems like the ND and the tilta focus, lot of work and amazing looking design but you are getting a pocket 6k on steroids not a different motherboard based of the same sensor, your image will look the same. fyi (same sausage different bread with the option of toppings 👌🏼)
@ you can buy whatever haha you can buy an 50y old un-open camera and would be new, I’m happy for this product I just think it is important to tell customers what they are really getting.
@@javierriveros7552 I got you. I just think you're making a moot point. I don't think anyone is being deceived especially since the state they are using the black magic super 35 sensor. But no worries. We buy what we like. On a different note. At the price point it's not a bad deal.
@ i agree, however it is not the same saying that you use the same Blackmagic 6k sensor and you designed a data bus to better use the sensor than saying it is an enhanced version of the original camera. Honestly I would love to this to be successful the price is very very good. they did better job than black magic Pyxis 😂 . They obviously are filmmakers and they know what a camera needs to have.
This seems like the box style mod for the BMPCC 6K Pro that everyone expected the Pyxis to be. If BlackMagic don't come out with a Pyxis Pro that has the features this has, this will be the camera to rival the Komodo and even the Pyxis itself. Especially with the E-VND and PL Mount upgrades
Interesting. Looks like a Z Cam with the BMC sensor brain…maybe Micro, all rigged up with audio, monitor, follow focus for FIZ, power solutions and storage. Very cool. Wonder how it will compete with the announced Fujifilm Eterna? That would have a bigger sensor, and AF with some lenses.
@@epochfilmandphoto welcome to RUclips. People will not read all the comments (or any). Especially if they watch your video on a mobile device, where navigating the comments is literally painful. And yes, people will point out, when you're not even on the correct side of the globe geographically. Or similar mistakes.
Nothing is finalized....only rumored. Keep in mind that's just the Bain price....everything you adds to the cost....mounts, eND, handles, media etc etc

Makes sense, I was wondering why not the FF L mount but this explains it
Yeah I don't have it. When I get it it will be a new camera lol

I'm definitely intrigued and will be keeping an eye out for this one. Definitely the most interesting camera I've seen in a while.

Austria or Australia? BM is out of Australia. I saw $3300.
@@scottievee330 Austria. That’s where the camera is being developed. I know BM is in Australia. Cine D is also in Austria
@@epochfilmandphoto Didn't CineD say the developer was in Australia near Black Magic? Makes sense if they are using their sensors.
