+weldingtipsandtricks 😜 I'm honored you're taking you time to watch them!! I need to get some safety gear so I can make sure I am showing things being done correctly! I was taught wrong and don't want to pass that to others! But I'm having so much fun!!💙👩🏭
Only get one set of hands. Lol. U need some glove to protect them tattoos. Thank for taking the time to do these videos. Love the inspiration you are giving me and my wife to do this style of art. I love welding and she has amazing artistic ability. Together we should knock it out of the park.
I looked at your book link, yep, I'm going to get one after seeing the ideas in it- which I can use, and because there are too many takers who give nothing back to those that share their knowledge and experience. As some old bloke once said: “Experience is a jewel, and it had need be so, for it is often purchased at an infinite rate.”
I love it. Thanks for posting these vids. I'm going to make mine a googly eyed moose! Everything else in my life is just a little off center. Will look great in my family camp at Moosehead Lake, Maine. A couple cost saving ideas. I picked up an old chop saw for $10 at a yard sale, put Norton metal cutting disk on it and use that whenever practical instead of the cut-off disk on the angle grinder. The disks last a long time compared to the cut-off wheel. It's amazing how far a quart of Rust-Oleum will go in a detail paint sprayer. Once you get used to it, cleanup is a breeze. The detail sprayer was $40 at home depot, holds 4 ounces. I've found that 4 ozs in this will cover more that a whole can of spray paint will. Being able to adjust the spray pattern also cuts down on waste. If you use even a few cans of spray paint a month you'd recoup your investment in 3 - 4 months plus have an inventory of surplus paint. I'm really just being selfish. I don't want you to run out of money and stop making videos!
The new mic makes a big difference in hearing what you're saying now. I'm learning how to weld after many years of wanting to. I like these projects you are doing and hope to see more of them.
Another excellent idea, I just found a source for horsehoes, now I have ideas, the moose head is great, I'm aso going to make individual coat hooks using your techniques you demonstrated.
+Ross George Thanks so very much for taking the time to watch them!! If there is a project you would like to see me make let me know and I'll do my best to make it happen!!💙👩🏭
+Northern Sweden Welding I would love to see when you're done!! If there are other projects you would like to see me make let me know and I'll try to make it happen!!💙👩🏭
+John Sundquist Hey John each welder is different so unless we're running the same welder with the same wire my settings won't help you. I have a video on here How To MIG Weld that I explain more how to set up your welder. If that don't help please email me at barbiethewelder@yahoo.com with your welder information and I will do what I can to help you get it tuned in!💙👩🏭
+Zoran Bilbiloski The shop I learned to weld in never used them. I learned the wrong way. I am getting a grinder with a guard. I truly appreciate your concern for my safety!!💙👩🏭
+Justin Edwards My MIG is a 110v 20amp welder running .030 wire and 75/25 gas. I believe mine is only made to weld 3/16 but I have never had a problem welding horseshoes which I believe are 1/4". All the projects coming out of my shop have been made with this welder, including every part of the 10 foot dragon!
If you're tig has spatter... priceless! Follow this gal. She's going places

Where do yo buy your horseshoes from?
Tractor supply or here on amazon www.amazon.com/Diamond-Farrier-DC000B-Horseshoe-Classic/dp/B002Q7AK2S
How thick are the horse shoes? My machine welds up to 3/16. Do they make thinner shoes? Great videos keep it up!!

You can use a propane torch to pre heat your material. It doesn't have to be red hot. Just experiment a little.
