Lelystad Airport arrival, with ATC on the Radio, all in the Corona time so flying alone.

My first trip ever to Lelystad in the Netherlands, EHLE, with extreme good conditions and beautiful views. This part of my trip shows the Mike Arrival-route in Lelystad, over the Highway from the North.
Although there was very low Traffic due to Corona, watch the ATC communication (Air Traffic Control) a high tempo on the radio! As a glider pilot just ok I managed this tempo now after some practice in Bremen and Münster although normally you see more Boeings there and no glider at all :-).
Normally 600 landings a day told me one of the officials, now only 100, no flight schools only solo and some visitors like me. Lelystad is very busy with GAT traffic (General Aviation). In Germany there are countless airstrips, so the GAT traffic is divide over the whole big country, In Holland we have only a few Airports for GAT, busy that EHLE.
ATC is new here, it will belong to Schiphol Amsterdam in 2021 (probably) it was postponed I understood this week. I wanted to test this field, just for fun. The next one will be Rotterdam or maybe Schiphol

zeer leerzaam om het na een week nog eens terug te horen. het kan korter, maar schlecht was het ook niet. Ik had echter geen idee waar Delta was; bij de tower :-) En de mooiste uitspraak van mijn collega duitser, goodaftermiddag :-)

Mooie video Jan. Bedankt voor het delen. Misschien een kleine opmerking voor de volgende keer als je daarheen vliegt. Dat bosgebied/water waar je overheen vloog op downwind willen ze liever niet hebben het circuit zit daar precies rechts van rechts van. Je hebt hem lekker wijd gevlogen :)

a okay, I got an extend downwind from the controller, so what to do? I was also looking voor those markers on the ground that identify the circuit here, ik kon ze niet vinden :-( zo snel. Ja dat bosgebied tal wel natuur zijn. Gelukkig hoor je mij nauwelijks als motorzwever. THANKS, ik had je commentaar over het hoofd gezien, en commentaren maken youtube nietwaar!
