- Flying at the Danish border in the mudflats is extremely beautiful. The island of Föhr was unexpectedly good with a very nice patient Tower to land and take off. His friendly advice led to a very learning take-off abort to runway 20 south, all well and properly reacted.
We (Wiho and Jan) often fly together, but this was the most chaotic and spontaneous flight. We wanted to go to the Brocken Mountain in the Hartz, but there was no sun, so off we went to the north.
Only via Cuxhaven 00:20 we really decided to fly to Sankt Peter-Ording. Route ( 00:01) Nordhorn, Westerstede, Wilhemshaven, Cuxhaven, Büsum 00:26, Sankt Peter-Ording 00:32 , Pellworm, Hooge 00:40, Amrum, Sylt, Wyk auf Föhr. Lots of water without engine damage! Of course, you don't have to plan such a flight so chaotically. It turned out to be a nice day anyway. In Sankt Peter-Ording the restaurant was closed, only a few drinks, how to continue is then the question? Called Wyk to see if the grass runway was sufficiently dry. The air traffic controller was almost offended, of course it was dry and above all well mown. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flugpla... So we flew on to the unexpectedly beautiful island of Föhr. A nice trip, as the pictures show. I watched almost 8 hours of footage for this short video and almost everything was beautiful. The landing went smoothly, although a Cessna had entered the runway exactly the wrong way and flew towards me, always nice when someone else makes the mistake.

Niemals mit Rückenwind raus, auch wenn es umständlich ist, erst zur anderen Seite zu hoppeln.

Wir sind auf der gleichen Bahn mit einer HR200 und quasi leeren Tanks auch mal grad so mit butterweichen Rudern raus, 50 cm übern Deich. Nicht noch mal.
