These are steps that hit the nail on the head. I enjoy the pre-planning just as much as the actual hunt.I would add fitness as a #9 tip. I hunt the hills of WV and on public land your hiking in a bit. I think this is an area that gets overlooked. I like the piece about hunting the sign and not the spot.I tend to do that more than I should. Great video.
Started listening and about 2 minutes in I said to myself - I'll wager $100 that man lives within 50 miles of the Susquehanna River 😂😂 Lancaster Archery is a GREAT shop. Great video!
@@benjaminporterindc I actually live around 5 miles from the Susquehanna lol. My brother and I both live in York, PA. Lancaster Archery is a great shop. They really have taken care of me more than a few times. Thanks!
I beg to differ on the fix vs mechanical broadhead. I used fixed in the beginning. I’ve seen more wind deflection with fixed. I switched to mechanical several years ago and tho my favorite isn’t made anymore I still use similar . The old NAP scorpion xp was bad too the bone Literally

Thanks Mark. I agree. Fitness is huge. I put on a lot of miles myself and workout on a regular basis so I can be as mobile as possible.

There is no doubt that wind deflection can be an issue with certain fixed blades. I switched to different blades a few times because of that.
@@theeverydaybowhunter if I may ask? Which fixed blade broad heads have you settled with?
I am using the Trifecta single bevel 150 grain broadhead. Last year I used the Magnus Black Hornets.
Great stuff great channel!
@@DaveHershall I appreciate it. Thanks!
Happy Veterans Day! Wish this country did more for you guys
Thanks man. Much appreciated!
Keep it simple! Car costumes and wear a head lamp sit 5 foot off the road. Best way to hunt.
