Passed by this area many times and stopped into Quartzite. I would need a full hookup with a pool and jacuzzi. Not enough to do put there for me. However, my father-in-law and his wife live in Lake Havasu and have a great setup! Makes all the difference in the world!

Hi Robert: Just an FYI - “The River” is extremely busy during the summer months from May thru Sep when the temperature is in the 100’s. It is normally too cold in the other months and so is home to snowbirds during the off-season. Great video. Like you, we go to Quartzsite every January. Maybe we will check out the RTR next year!

That would have been a good weekend. USA has a much bigger Rv community than Australia. Robert would you recommend the Sony FDRAX33 4K for night footage? low light etc? My son and I are going on the Ghan train into the outback, so I would like a good camera for footage of the sky, outback and for Vlogging.

@11:55 I'd venture to guess that if you had camped with at least one other person/small group it may have been a bit more memorable. I'm a pretty shy person but camping alone isn't terribly enjoyable I've found.

Traveling Robert haha oh ok. When do most people leave that place I cant imagined many people there in the summer.
Some of the vendors start to leave shortly after the end of the Big Tent show at the end of January. Just about all of the seasonal vendors are gone by April 15th when the season LTVA camping permits end. There are some year round stores to support the permanent residents.
