Art Garfunkel, how I've admired that man's voice and character for many years, how appropriate for him to tell BW's story in his own words. He lived the music in the 60's, is a big fan, and definitely knows about harmony."Rock and roll's gentlest revolutionary" couldn't have put it any better than that. The Beach Boys are not in the same league as the Beatles. Too bad because the Beach Boys are barely mention. They put California on the map with their surf music 🎵 which at the time was the best we had to offer. Point of fact Brian Wilson attended El Camino college but did not graduate.
His brothers both loved him very much, as he loved them. Their relationships with each other were necessarily complicated, but the love was always there.
+John Walters You know what's so heartbreaking. Brian had a Nervous Breakdown on Dec 23, 1964 and The Supremes made their National TV Debut on The Ed Sullivan show that same Date.
Gosh, I love Brian so much, it just kills me sometime. So many songs imprinted on my soul, so much love poring out of every note, every voice. Makes life better.
the wilson brothers may have had a few problems here and there like all of us, but man they sure had an unbreakable bond with each other you could tell they loved each other very much
I was born and raised in Paris. I followed the Beach Boys when I couldn't speak much English. Brian deserves tribute for his genius in music that will live in this world forever.
A beautiful tribute Art, it's easy to see your affection for Brian and his God given gifts. Brian is as important to me growing up on Long Island 10 minutes from the beach where it was summer even in the winter. Brian and the Beach Boys music are as timeless as Lennon and McCartney and the Beatles.
Brian Wilson I still remember playing the beach boys on the old cassette deck in my 1965 Mori's 1100 when little duce coupe came on the car seemed to gain another 100 HP love ya mate thanks for years of good music

A minimal but apt tribute. Love you OUR BRIAN WILSON!! thank you for a life of memories and the joy that are born from your music. My 11 year older sister than me, ditching school to take me to the beach with her boyfriend and Beach Boys music on the AM radio. The favorite was a 45, ‘Do it again’.

He’s got such a little boy face, it just makes me want to pinch the lovable cheeks, of the genius Brian Wilson. Every time I hear any of his songs it takes me back to my wonderful childhood. To say I love Brian Wilson is an understatement. He is an American icon.5:28 brings tears to my eyes. I know what it’s like to have an abusive father and how close your siblings become.

How touching it must have been to be Inducted with Diana Ross. They have so much in common. They started out in Groups, They appeared on The Same Shows, American Bandsand, Shindig, Ed Sullivan as well as The T.A.M.I. Show.
