- As you guys probably know by now I love using things to their full potential as much as possible and try to avoid waste. When it comes to orange peel throwing it out really would be a waste because it can be used for so many benefits!

Hey Ela love Ur videos I have one more use for the orange peel . U can wash the peel of couple of oranges and boil them in a cup or so of water and then brush Ur hair with it after it drys it will make ur hair so shiny and beautiful. It does stain so use a towel. Thank you so much

Great video! I also dry out the peel then grind it into a powder, and put it in an infuser to make tea or add a spoonful of it to a pudding mix.

Soak oranges or any fruits in potassium permanganate solution for 10 minutes followed by washing will remove most of the pesticides. Very informative video. Thanks for sharing the information.

Amazing :D never thought to use them like candles.. but you cannot use it as a bug mosquito repeller everywhere I'm afraid. I went to Japan last year and used a citronella based repeller and the mosquitos there were actually drawn to it... so weird. So make sure to test that out wherever you live :)

Hi Ela! lovely video. So I tried this and my favourite is the candl, I only had grapeseed oil so I used it. At times it burned black smoke so I wonder if the oil was the issue. The smell is very faint but the colour of the candle is so soothing. The dried zest used in tea is another one I tried and I found it had a soapy taste so that was a fail for me. Best!

Make a strong tea from orange, mandarin, lemon and grapefruit peel using spring water or rain water. Then dissolve some himalayan salt, magnesium chloride, MSM in some spring water.
Add the tea, the salt water, some essential oils, ginger powder, cayenne pepper powder, and warm/hot water to your liking and soak your feet in this and it is energizing and detoxifying.
It can be relaxing, energizing. I used it to relieve a bee sting on my foot.

a while ago I made a jar of vinegar orange peel I learned from my friend. Are there any expiry date to that? I still have a fair bit in the jar and not sure whether I can or should still use it as it is a year old.
