I've seen a number of your projects on Instagram. All excellent. These episodes on the composite range are great. I have been hoping to use similar for a while but as yet... still timber. Keep up the great work
Another great video Simon, very informative. The Ecoscape decking structure as you built it, would it be strong enough to put and fasten a aluminium pergola on top of it?
Good to know, thanks. Also In regards to the facia, is it hard against the first deck board you fitted or is the board sat back for a shadow gap? Sorry for all the questions, and great work again, thanks.
Wish I had seen this video last year before I laid my own composite decking. It has been placed onto the existing paved patio but I used tanalised timber. I really like the "picture frame" effect. I also have a timber deck that need replacing but the joists are just like those in the first video. Can I buy composite joists anywhere or must it be a specialist supplier?
Love the way you say this is how WE do it. 👍🏽
It’s the truth, there’s so many ways of doing things, this is his WE do it. Everyone’s entitled to do it there own way 👍🏻

A proper job ,does you proud
Great job. Please could you tell me who the manufacturer is for the decking? Thanks
Ecoscape 👍🏻
Hi love your inspirational vids....question is 5cm over 3m sufficient fall for a raised deck?
Doesn’t sound out of the way, but check with the decking manufacturer 👍🏻

Great video.
Ever tempted to use a breaker board inside of butting boards?
Another superb video guys, if laying the deck in the summer would you still leave a 5mm gap or less?
Less in the summer because it will naturally be longer, but still leave a gap 👍🏻

There are a few suppliers that offer them. These are from Ecoscape, who also supplied the decking.
Thank you!
👌🏼
😁👍🏻
👍👍👍
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁
Hi Simon, how did you fix the both sides of picture frame as it looks like ends on edge of joist so no fixing point? Cheers
Or is the starter clip on the outside enough to hold it in place?
Good question, there is a colour coded screw at an angle hiding in the tongue of the board 👍🏻
@@simonbowler1 👍🏻 Cheers Simon
did your older videos get deleted??
No, this is s new venture for us, there’s another one live tonight at 6.30 👍🏻
That wasn't cheap 😮
No, but it’ll be there a while 👍🏻
Out of interest.. What size was this and total cost?
I'm going to report you to your supervisor. Sometimes you didn't used your ear protection.
JK 😂 Great job 👍
