Thank you Dimitri 😁. Easy recipe to use and keep in the freezer. I sometimes wrap logs of dough in the freezer, remove to soften slightly and grate coarsely on top of stewed fruit. You can be generous or stretch it out. Always ready for a quick dessert 👍😊
Hello Dimitra, I have tried the above apple pie pastry, really nice and fast but i need your advice,for the filling as I am busy working mum, I have used apple compote instead only adding a pit of raisins, cinnamon ant 2 table spoons corn flour, to enhance the flavour should I add to the compote a but of cream or a table spoon of apricot jam? Thanks
Dimitraki, Correction needed in recipe you posted. I think you meant 3/4 lb. butter for the 31/2 cups flour. Butter reads 1 1/2 lb. butter and 31/2 cups flour. For 1 1/2 lb. butter it should read( 3 1/2 x3 ) cups four. Double butter, double flour. I watched your video carefully. I love all your recipes and have told my non Greek friends too!
