- Vistadome (Glass-top) coaches were introduced to promote train tourism, Vistadome coaches on Bangalore-Mangalore Junction day train service available daily. These coaches offer breathtaking views of Western Ghats, specifically the Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Ghat section in monsoon with even more beautiful scenery.

I'm Tamil, and i could understand pretty much, most of the things he spoke in the video. All Dravidian languages have a connection. I can similarly understand Malayalam and Telugu as well. We can understand atleast the jist of the conversation.

From comfort prospects, yes. But not from safety. Door are still opened and people can be seen sitting on the stairs. Doors must be controlled by the crew and once locked, they must be opened at destination. Just a thought.

Wow! What a scenic views,btw one feature u missed out, it's the foldable table between the seats. Lift the black handle up, inside handle is a table for each passenger, lift it & each opens in the opposite direction.
Mangalore to Bengaluru train journey is heaven especially post monsoon months.

Happy to know that these coaches are made in India. Looks very nice and classy? How much are the tickets? Is there a long route along the coast? And the views - this is why you do trains and not planes!
While the train journey by VistaDome is a nice experience, I was thoroughly disappointed by the delay to arrive at my destination (Mlr-Blr). As it is the day train journey was from schedule 915am to 820pm, yes almost 11 hours, what was evem more disappointing was the near hour long delay! And no one to let us know what was happening. Pure frustration on luxury payment. Hope the train service improves.
