Gotta love Cryogen. Mine actually had menthol crystals forming on top of the soap. If you’ve never lathered onto the tub and you let it sit for a whole, it’s quite a sight to see. Great shave Aaron. Take care now!

I remember seeing those crystals when I first got it and it was crazy cool to see. I think everyone should have Cryogen in their den just due to how ridiculous the soap is. Great shave Aaron. The R41 fits you like a glove. Your fiance is a keeper if she likes the old library/pipe/leathery smell. Match made in heaven. I still haven't ordered my new soap. I picked up this stuff called Cremo at Target. It's a non brush lather creme. Awful. It's thick and gooey. Clogs the blade. What a disaster. I hate wasting stuff (I'm cheap) so I will use it up. I'm not much of a menthol lover but hats off to you for pushing through. I really enjoyed this shave.

Yeah, I'm surprised at how much I've fallen in love with the r41. I think people make a fuss about how scary it is, but I find it to be a very efficient and comfortable shaver. (besides the adams apple cut). I love that she enjoys these chiseled face scents because I would hate to have to smell like flowers for her all the time lol. I've seen that cremo while shopping around. Yup, sounds bad. But that's good you're giving it a chance instead of tossing it right away. Cryogen is like feeling in refrigerator. So cool menthol shave soap! For many days coarse hair shaving, Mühle R41 is great efficient razor. Your fiance's liking Ghost Town Barber soap scent is still wonder to me. haha Nice shave Eric & have a nice weekend!

The r41 has become one of my all time favorite razors. I'm shocked at how well it handles lots of growth. Great price point as well. Yeah, I'm shocked as well that her favorite scents in my den come from chiseled face. But lucky for me, I don't need to smell like flowers all the time to make her happy. Hi. Nice one. I also like these high blade feel razors. For some reason the angle of attack is somewhat easier to find. I like chiseled face but I haven't tried this one. I do have other mentholated soaps / aftershaves and I agree the post shave feels very good. Your eyes water but the cooling effect feels very good on my skin. Happy hump day

Although other times I am in the mood for a more mild razor, if I don't feel like focusing as much. Glad to hear you're also a chiseled face fan. Interesting about the menthol having a better post shave feel. I always notice it very much when using this soap. I guess I can sometimes get past the eye watering though. Beautiful R41 shave Aaron. I love the R41 and it’s my favorite DE razor. I am upset that Dr. Jon’s left the market as well. I don’t believe there are enough wet shaving hobbyists to support all of the artisans out there. So, if you really love a few, you just have to try to concentrate your support to those few artisans. I thought I loved menthol until i tried this. Stirling glacial has the perfect balance imo but this is straight dry ice 😂
