Stirling is so good. So much variety. I just got “Sharp Dressed Man” after having a sample & loving it. Great scent!
The R41 is on my want list. I’ve always wanted to try it.

Thanks so much for watching! I appreciate your feedback and continued support. I know right! I love how they have a variety of the basics, and then kinda get weird with it at the same time with scents like Ben franklin, coniferous and electric sheep. They have something for everyone. Sharp dressed man is a great scent indeed! I don't have a tub, but funny enough they threw in a sample of it along with this frankincense and myrrh tub. Wonderful scent, I think it's one of their top sellers. Do yourself a favor and try the r41. If you have a lot of razor handles, you can just buy the head and save yourself some money. I have the link to the razor head in my description if you want to check it out. Have a great weekend!

I got Frankincense & Myrrh, Christmas Eve, Sweet Pecan, and Gingerbread Man yesterday. All great wintery scents. Very excited to try them out! Have a great weekend.

Thanks so much for watching Zach! Appreciate you stopping by! Awesome choices! I always loved Stirling's winter seasonal line. Christmas eve is one of my all time favorite scents. I was eyeing sweet pecan the other day, I'm sure that one smells amazing too. I think that might be a new scent they put out this year, I don't recall seeing it last year. I'll probably end up snagging it. Have fun with those and enjoy your week!

Thanks so much for watching Joseph! Appreciate the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! We are excited to hopefully make it down there soon. Awesome to hear you've been enjoying the r41! That thing is such a beast, but in the best way. It's hard to go back to more mild razors after getting comfortable with the r41. The efficiency level is off the charts great. Hope you have a great weekend, and I'm looking forward to more of your videos!

Great shave Aaron. I like PAA for certain scents and Stirling for certain scents. For overall value I would go with Stirling. Sounds like a nice trip you and your wife are planning. Have a good evening. Take care.

Hey Lee! Thanks so much for your continued support and kind words. Always appreciate you stopping by! I agree with you. Doug over at PAA definitely is a creative mastermind when it comes to scents. I love a lot of his work. Stirling scents might be a bit more on the "basic" side in comparison, but their value is just ridiculously good. Both artisans are great in their own ways. You enjoy your evening as well!

Hi Doug! Always appreciate your time and support on my content. Hope all is well with you! You might be thinking of a diffuser that turns the oils into steam. We have one also but don't use it often. Frankincense and Myrhh is quite the earthy and adventurous scent. I find it to be beautiful. I'll be sure to keep you posted on our plans for South America. We are so excited! You enjoy the weekend as well my friend.

Nice shave as always, I would like to try sterling soaps esp the one with frankincense and myrrh , my absolute fav scent but it’s fav to find soaps with this scent , I burn frankincense too I love it , I think I’m gonna try that soap too

Thanks so much for watching, as well as the kind words! Stirling is fantastic soap. They have an awesome selection of scents, and are very affordable when it comes to high quality shave soap. I can't recommend them enough. I'm happy to hear you're also a fan of burning frankincense. I think you would enjoy this soap as it's a realistic smelling frankincense and myrrh. It smells like actual burning frankincense to my nose. You can always buy a sample size from them if you don't want to get a full tub. If you grab it, let me know how you like it. Have a great weekend!

Mühle R41 seems to be your dumb-reach shaver for your coarse beard.
Frankincense & Myrrh soap been on the fence for its religious & incensy scent.
Your honest interpretation of this soap scent is big help to me for understanding this soap scent.
Yaqi Sagrada Familia was my first synthetic brush purchase. Cute & handy.
Nice shave and it's been a while for stopping by your video.
Have great days, Aaron! Patagonia travel seems to be wonderful.

Hi Hoon! Thanks so much for stopping by! Very happy to see you! The Muhle R41 has become my favorite razor in my den. It’s efficient for me and I don’t cut myself with it that often anymore. Im glad you enjoyed my description of the soap! Frankincense and myrrh is not a scent for everyone, but it’s a beautiful scent for those who are into natural earthy scents. I am glad I’m seeing so many wetshavers (mainly international) use yaqi brushes. They are affordable and perform great. They never lose bristles for me! I just got another one for $6 USD with free shipping!! What a steal! I hope you have a great weekend and thanks again for your kind words :)!

Thanks for explanation on where those "Incense" scents come from. Yeah that's not a scent style I would normally pick up, would need to try a sample first. Don't think I've tried the Treet Classic's yet but I do like their DuraSharp blades. I've never had any problems with my many synthetic Yaqi brushes with hair loss, even the 2Band Badger one doesn't loose hairs. Stirling is a great brand to collect here in Aus as they have a local online store with a large range of their products. Favorite Artisan? That's a good question... I'll answer in two parts my favorite Aussie Artisan is "Squadron" as they were my first Artisan I started to collect and provide a great traditional style Tallow base; my favorite "overseas" Artisan would be Stirling because of local availability, great value and tremendous scent range. Take care brother Aaron🤟🤠🤟

Hey Lawrie! Thanks so much for your continued support! And I appreciate your detailed feedback! You're very welcome, I'm happy you enjoyed that segment. I was hoping someone would find that interesting haha. Samples are always a great route to go, especially with the polarizing scents. Yaqi blows my mind with theit value to performance ratio. They honestly feel like such a steal, plus they look cool too. Thanks so much for sharing those artisans with me, I will have to check out Squadron at some point and check their availability within the states. I love exploring new artisans, and I'm happy to see so many parts of the world producing shave soap now. Glad to hear we both love Stirling, I couldn't agree with you more about them. Enjoy your weekend my friend!

I need some advice now. I am debating between a Rockwell 6S or a Rockwell 6C. Do you have either?
Both look amazing and have different pros and cons. Asking for it for Christmas lol so I have a couple weeks before I really need to decide.

    • @DoubleAshaves

Thanks for watching Kaden! Frankly I have not tried either, but I’ve had the 6s on my list for quite some time. I’ve heard endless great things about it, and that it’s a great mid level razor. Not too mild but not too aggressive. I think I heard at one point that the 6c is similar to 6s but less expensive. But razors will last you a lifetime so I would just go for the 6s if I were you. Happy holidays!

Thanks for watching Kaden. This one is definitely a different take for Stirling. It’s got a pungent balsamic, earthy note to it. Not one for everyone but if you appreciate natural earthy scents you might enjoy it. When it comes to this one I would definitely sample it first. I appreciate this scent but I don’t think I would wear the aftershave splash. Have a great weekend.

Hey Aaron, Exciting trip to be planning. I have never been down that way, but on my list! Love the R41 as much as you do. Stirring F&M is on my list to try. Just placed an order for 4 Stirling soap sets, but not that one. Will do a RUclips unboxing. Stirling is going to release a 31mm boar brush in conjunction with Zenith any day now. When they do, I’m getting it and adding F&M to the order. Hope to see you soon. Best regards, Glenn
