@@killeroffroadhobbyz YES!!! So many great rcs have come out since you took a break! I'd love to see you try some of the team corallys starting with the sketer! I would like to see the Colossus XT with the xmaxx and the Redcat Shredder together w a pretty cool video showing the difference between the sizes like you did the xmaxx and The Colossal XT
What do you mean? 1/6th means it takes 6 of them to make the real life vehicle is what always confuses me. I am trying to buy a drag rc now and get into parking lot drag racing it.
@@joejones2847 that’s what it should mean, but realistically that doesn’t hold true. The arrma 1/5th scales are the exact same size as the traxxas Xmaxx which is undisputedly a 1/6 scale. Then you have the raminator which is much larger than the xmaxx and arrma 1/5 and is also considered a 1/5 scale. Then the smaller scale stuff also varies wildly. 1/16 and 1/18 are extremely close to the same size
@@dylanwhite6539 man I’m new to this and I’m not just running out and buying the best looking one I want a drag truck rc. But I live in sandy north Florida so to use a drag car I would have to go to a parking lot. I don’t live within 4 miles of a paved road that’s not a major Highway. So I’m wondering if I should get a truck I can run in the dirt and sand since I have 20 acres and could put a track anywhere
@@joejones2847 most bashers can handle sand, but it does require extra maintenance, slower speeds and lots of cooling. Sand is actually a pretty great surface to drive on as it has a ton of grip, but also eats up batteries because of it. I would recommend something with plastic axles as they’re less likely to suffer from wear that sand will cause in CVD joints on steel axles, good parts support and look into sealing as much of the driveline up as you can to prevent sand from getting in. The vehicles i can think of that would meet that criteria are the slash ultimate 4x4, rustler 4x4, hoss, maxx, and arrma 3s line, but do note with the arrma 3s you’ll need to spend about 80-100 on the CNC driveline gears as the stock plastic gears are garbage. Whatever you get, find a pinion that’s about 3-4 teeth smaller for it, and put some super strong aluminum cased brushless fans on the motor and if you can the esc as well.
U never did that speedrun of the Shredder with the STCs didn't you? Lol. If you could do it one day, I would like to see if the shredder can hit top speed on 6s. I've recently purchased the Shredder and I'm currently trying to do an 8s project on it. Wish me luck!
Thank you for taking the time to show the sizes... It helped a lot...
That shredder is sick
Where did you get the 1/8 scale and how much was it?
I would like to know if the 1/8 BIGGER THEN 1/14 TRUCK OR NOT
Hi my name is Jacob.
Just a question if I have a 1/12 scale rc car can I put a 1/10 scale motor in it.
Please reply
Thanks Jacob

Nice video, keep them coming
You got it bro
I'm planning on buying a nomad db8 soon and was wondering can you put 3.8 tires on that thing
If you want too for sure, might need wheel spacers
Thanks for the reply I want to make a mudder out of it

I don't have any of those trucks anymore lol
do you plan on reviewing the Losi 5T? Only upgrade I think that would need is ripping out that shitty 29cc and slap in a 70cc
Maybe some day
What is the rc name for the shredder
I think 1/10th scale and 1/8th scale have the most RCs similar in size, mostly down to SWB or LWB, all other scales are all over the place

Your welcome
Have you seen the exceed mad Beast Super 7 that is supposed to be a pretty big truck for the price 1/7 scale
I have looked at it but it's only 4s and it's pretty much a Savage XL
Hello can you please help me I am having trouble identifying the scale of my nitro rc it measures 14 inches in length front to back
Probably a 1/10th scale by the sound of it

"scale" is irrelevant. We all know, it's size that matters!
LOL
Some segments in the video are stamped not adjacent to each other
What happens if you extend an 1/10 scale about 3 inches to prevent wheelies what is that
1/9 I guess lol
well, yeah. the difference from 1:6 to 1:8 is 25% smaller. The difference between 1:8 to 1:10 is 20% smaller 😁
i think the ruckus is loosely based off a 4x4 sct
Maybe I'm not sure
That's what she said
Its about size, but if you can't perform, size don't mean shit!!!!!
I’m getting a armora senton
It's not the same size as the cen Colossus XT and the Redcat Shredder V2
What's not?
weed eater motors? no sir!!! Taylor RC AND ALX AT THE RESCUE WITH MOTO STYLE REED ENGINES
Size matters lol
LOL
Imagine a 1/1 scale car :0000
There is a rc corvette
I said take that ford hat off!!
Not my Ford hat
Over 3 mins into video I got board & stopped watching. I hoped were going to explain sizes from scale to inches.
I heard Redcat sucks.
bla bla bla .. help very little ... you need to get to the point and stop repeating yourself ...
Thank you for the comment I will try to do better
now tell us what scale is the bigger truck
Your almost fish eye lens didn't help. I would have gotten a better idea had you put a can of sprite next to it.
