    Hi sir, in order to compare by using mole ratio do we need to use both from different sides or can from the same side if they not mention?

    • @mrcausey
      @mrcausey  2 года назад +2

      Yes, you can compare from the same side.

    But no. On the left hand side denote no. Of molecules how can we consider it to be no. Of moles

    What if you have a ratio of 2/6 or 6/2. Will u simplify so u could have a 1/3 or 3/1 so u could cancel out when multiplying or would u do something else?

    • @mrcausey
      @mrcausey  3 года назад

      Always simplify when possible. Thank you for watching and commenting.

    Why did you cancel out 2 moles on the right and 4 on the left? Confused as to why it wouldn't be 2 on both sides.

    • @mrcausey
      @mrcausey  7 лет назад +1

      Canceling is actually a type of division. So, I actually divided the 8 by 2 and got 4, then divided the 2 by 2 and got 1. Thank you for watching and commenting.

      Thank you soo much for responding so quickly. I have a midterm coming up tomorrow and am having a hard time figuring out how to set up the word problems and to set them up into formulas. your videos are helping me so much. :) Idk how I'll remember all the steps of the formulas and recall them.

      Hi Mr Causey, I'm soo grateful for your videos. I passed my midterm with a better mark than I expected. :) I had trouble with Enthalpies of formation formulas, calculating wavelengths, frequencies and calculating enthalpy change for calorimeter though. So I need to study them for my final. Which videos would you recommend. :D Thank you soo much again. :)

    • @mrcausey

      1.4 moles is just amount chosen for the problem. If this much A was consumed how much B was produced.
