+Lord Bendtner are You sure: "At the time of Keane's tackle, Håland's left knee was giving him sufficient problems for him to have to play with strapping around it.[9] After the tackle, Håland finished the match and played a midweek friendly for Norway coming off at half-time,[10] and the next league game, coming off in the 68th minute.[11] That summer, he underwent surgery on his left knee, but only managed a further 4 substitute appearances the following season[12] and finally retired in July 2003 after failing to recover full fitness. Håland was originally contracted with Manchester City until the end of the 2004-05 season, but in his contract it was stated that City could terminate the contract if medical conditions indicates that he couldn't play first-team football again, and decided to use this option."

Roy keane was a good footballer not a great footballer Paul McGrath was an absolute monster of a player even when he couldn't train Liam Brady was pure class people will point to what keane won as a reason for being the best Irish player ever but there's lots of footballers that have won alot of cups and leagues that no one would consider great
@@donalkelly6789 Paul mcgrath was a fantastic player. We've had lots of fantastic players over the years. Could add Dennis irwin into that conversation. But Keane was more than just technical ability. He was a general, a captain, made everyone around him better, didn't accept a dip in standards. That's a man I want in my team
Roy Keane on the overlap saying it wasnt that bad brought me here....
ESSE MONSTRO QUE FALOU DO TITE???
Cartão vermelho foi pouco, deveria ter saído preso após a partida. Criminoso esse lance.

Now his son has scored a hat trick against man utd.
Not true, Haland was carrying a knee injury and was going to retire at the end of that season.
For the 1% of people reading this, you should know this story is a complete myth. Haland’s career ended because of injuries on his left leg(the one keane didn’t kick), he didn’t even go off injured in this game.
It's a good myth though
This is worse than Suarez's bite.
About the same.
essvee86 - What are you smoking?! Suarez's biting is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING compared to Roy Keane's extremely vicious pre-meditated assault on Alf-Inge Håland which broke Halland's leg in 2 places and effectively ended his career. I agree with 83BallroomBlitz- One could definitely argue that the CPS should have pressed criminal charges against Keane after his ridiculous admission in his autobiography.
James B
Haaland deserved it. Keane should be honored with a statue at old Trafford for this.
Patrick Chow You really are a shallow, pathetic excuse for a person if you believe that!
James B He could have tetanus, if not rabies from the bite. The mouth is full of germs.
Ended his career apart from he played three days later and finished the season with 35 appearances aye nice one.
While he did play 3 days later, Alfie Haaland never played 90 minutes after this tackle.
@@georgem589 he had surgery on opposite leg
That came back to haunt him
He's son score 11 or 12 goals in UCL in 1 group-stage and round 16 amazing😁😉
who cares keane is more of a legand than he will ever be
@@lisashhotwife2732 just wait how Haaland becomes in the world of football in future.
Here after erling scored a hat-trick in his first Manchester derby
The king of the north has arrived to kick the memories of Keane 😂
I can’t imagine the number of goals he is going to score on MU
I read this didn’t actually end his career. He had an injury in the left knee which is what initially caused it but Roy didn’t help by hurting his right knee aswell.
Revenge. A dish best served cold.
Sound good! I order 2 dish and tell the chef go easy on the salt
he got 5000 pounds and three games...
150,000 pounds and 5, actually.
He oringinally got £5000 and 3 matches, but an FA inquiry gave him an additional 5 match ban along with a £150000 fine
So basically because the guy injured Keane and was a douche about it,its fully justified for Keane to end his career?
Now Erling destroyed Man United… justice
man city small club 😂😂😂😂😂😂. No UCL
I´m not even a city fan bro hahaha I just love justice and sportsmanship and Roy Keane was just an asshole and I love that his clubs sucked so hard the last years @@aranyaism
Thanks Roy, if he didn't retired early he will never raised Erling Haaland that great as we knew Erling Haaland now
Haaland was deserved, i am big Arsenal fan, but after this episode i respected very much for Roy, if i was instead of him, i am do same thing with Haaland
The son is having his revenge now
😂😂😂
Those 6 goals are for you, Roy. MU wont win against City as long as Haaland is still in there mark my word, and thats also for you
Erling haaland sign for city... where is keane son?
Reading...
Old good British football 🥰🥰 first halland deservsed it second keane pro captain fighting for his mates and the last one united the best freakin team of all time
Can't wait to see City smash Man U 48-0 after half time and Haaland score a hattrick is 21 milliseconds
Watching this after haaland scored hat trick against man utd.
what a time to recommend this, youtube.
btw for context, haland tored keane's acl, and when he approached keane, he said "get up!"
at his prime, you shouldn't even look at roy keane wrong. haland practically ended his own career.
Now his son scored a hatrick and 2 assist against Roy's team United while Roy was on stadium and watching 😂😂😂
roy probably doesnt even give 2 fucks about it. man u doomed since ferguson left
Cheers Geoff
And the prick couldn't be on the field and bring down Erling😂 divine justice
@@enriquemoranmartunez6736 the prick was not on the field, it was his son.
Now Håland son is back in Manchester to avenge his father
This tackle was so horrendous I don’t even know why Keane was ever allowed to play again. I just hope Erling scores against United every time they play.
0:27 THAT SMIRK SHOW IT ALL
It DID NOT end haalands career. Haaland played for Norway 4 days after , Keane even says it in the second half of his autobiography.
+Gaz Smith check out the fucking title under the video you butthurt blockhead.
+Lord Bendtner 4 DAYS???? fucking ledge
+Lord Bendtner are You sure:
"At the time of Keane's tackle, Håland's left knee was giving him sufficient problems for him to have to play with strapping around it.[9] After the tackle, Håland finished the match and played a midweek friendly for Norway coming off at half-time,[10] and the next league game, coming off in the 68th minute.[11] That summer, he underwent surgery on his left knee, but only managed a further 4 substitute appearances the following season[12] and finally retired in July 2003 after failing to recover full fitness. Håland was originally contracted with Manchester City until the end of the 2004-05 season, but in his contract it was stated that City could terminate the contract if medical conditions indicates that he couldn't play first-team football again, and decided to use this option."
+Campos J His left knee is the one that caused the retirement, and the right knee is the one Keane kicked.
+Campos J your not a manu fan are you by any chance
And now his son scored 7 goals in just 3 matches for BVB 🔥
Roy Keane didn't actually end his career he played a few more games and had an operation on his left foot
And now Halland Jr returns the favour
Who all here after 6-3🤣
