I adore YHVH...but I have to beat back my pride. It sneaks in, and I pray that I always recognize it and slap it down. All good comes from Him!
My husband has a prideful spirit arrogant attitude this is deep rooted in narcissism all I can do is pray for him at this point.
You need to pray for his humiliation, surrender to God and your husband and your prayers will be answered ma'am I guarantee

On though to help with this . For example ,
Greed:
1 Timothy 6:7
1 John 2:17
Envy:
Proverbs 12:4
Confessing means that you are not so proud after all.

I know what you mean!!! My own terrible pride has been weighing on my mind for the past two days, and I was wondering how to combat it. I've prayed for forgiveness for things, but I still seem to struggle with a sense of pride in my own actions and deeds, rather than putting the glory on the Lord...then this video pops up! The Holy Spirit heard me and is answering lol.
I have met so many people with a God complex. They know best and don't want anyone to be in charge of them. They strive to be a "good person" and desire others to be "good" as well. But, where does goodness come from? Who does goodness come from? We are not good apart from God. Thank you, Daniel, for this lesson on pride. I know I struggle with it from time to time.
Satan was and is the best example of Pride. It cost was immeasurable.
Pride is so deadly that it had us cause into selfishness but will be forever humility.
Father God Almighty protect and save us from all evil. Amen 🙏
A life without existing God is death. We need to be humble, never wish evil on others never wish bad on others. Choose to forgive others and be humble and know the glory beyond to God not ourselves.
There are times when the devil wants me to get puffed up, but I reject that. God is in control of my life and I trust Him completely.

@@user-pi7eh9sk6u The Bible says there is pride before destruction. I would rather be on God's good side rather than have His anger poured out on me. If you're a born again/saved Christian, then you must pray and read your Bible. It will guide you in everything you need to know. Being humble is a gift of God, we shouldn't think of ourselves higher than we ought to.

my oldest son is an atheist, and im at a loss with him i have tried everything i can think of to convert him... all i can do is pray for him.. now at a point when i bring up Jesus it starts a fight or he just walks out of the room..may God help my son..yes my son lives with me he refuses to settle down n get married hes a truck driver who loves the dollar more then anything..
I'm sure God will bring your son to Christ. For 8 years my parents were praying for me to become a christian and come to Jesus after i too became an atheist. Nobody thought I could come to the faith after my stubborness but God knew how to open my heart and now I'm here with Him. I'm not perfect but I hope this can encourage you to continue. I'll be praying too for your son.
I know who else is going to hell, me, my parents and sister. We’re all condemned and god knows that.
Praise God for justice in order we can relate to each other and God with humble hearts! I therefore bind one's pride to be punished in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintences, opponents and the body of Christ while binding to hell every lack of punishment of one's pride, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone being prideful going unpunished, in accordance with this word and proverbs 16:5, proverbs 11:2, psalm 10:4, jeremiah 29:13, james 4:6, james 4:8. philippians 2:3, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

I love it when Daniel speaks about one of the 7 deadly sins in his videos; I feel like, as Christians we should know as much as we can about the seven deadly sins; I wish that he could just make one long youtube video about all of the seven deadly sins.

When I hear this I think of my childhood. Back then can anyone of us think we were better than our parents? I remember wanting to learn, if I was in trouble I didn't fear my parents. I feared the punishment. As an adult now I remember how I was more humble. I would ask if I can do something before doing it, I was curious and cautious. I lived my life with instructions and safety of my parents.
I believe the same goes for us when we seek God. I am reminded often we seek God or should seek God the same way we followed and sought for our parents in our time of need. We should be humble and love God as we love and respect our parents.
The best and easiest way I do this is to seek him as not my powerful being. I am already inspired by that, but as my parent. My Father in Heaven. He teaches me, he loves and is always there. He wants the best for me and gives me instructions to learn and follow. Like my time as a child I didn't understand everything my parents told me It was my duty to follow it because they knew best for me. The Same goes for God. The more life offers lessons for choices I have made. I learn that God knew what he was doing. I need to humbly follow as he is directing me to happiness. Proof of his word and his wisdom is not just in the bible, but also in life experiences and science backing it up.
Thank God my father in heaven for his love, wisdom and joy he gives. The choice is mine to seek and enjoy what he offers. I want to be humble and accept it. There is no try, do, or do not.

Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Humility being humble not thinking you are better than others and they are not better than you. Loving others . Focusing on fixing our faults not pointing fingers at others . Arrogance is a sin . Arrogant countries .
i am here because My boyfriend was too prideful to admit he didn’t feel well, and pull over the car after almost passing out behind the wheel on the freeway. I know he has pride issues but that was justifying completely terrifying!
I did not suffer for this pride to have entered my heart. I did not choose it, the adversary put it there. Why did God allow this? Why did God allow me to be created this way just so I could be destroyed? God is telling me I'm being prideful by continuing to try and work to pay for my car that I'm living in. It's pure insanity. Why would God want me literally sleeping in a ditch? Isn't living in your car humble enough? It feels like a trick.
And pride opens the doors of other sins

One of the things I hate about god is that, when I’ve achieved something big and they compliment me and I get a little proud of myself, to god, I’m already an arrogant monster.
There is nothing wrong with being complemented. Everyone likes it and we would lie if we said we didn't, but the thing is when you allow those compliments to get into your head and begin to look at others as if they're nobodies. That is what arrogance is and what God hates since Satan sinned in that way when he thought that he could be even higher than God when he is only a created being like us.
What happens to those that have been humble, believed fully, then decide they don’t believe?

Most people are arrogant and think they are special. We are not. Most people think they are smarter, better looking, and better people than others. Human beings are in fact animals. People who call Themselves Queen and Kings are delusional, and arrogant . When they grow old and eventually die their body will decompose and rot, just like everyone else that was once a baby. Why are they so arrogant? The dumber someone is, the more they exalt themselves . We all become corpses in the end. It's kinda hard to be arrogant knowing we all just die , rot, and turn to dust.

Pride:excessive self esteem,inflated sense of one's own importance,put yourself on a pedestal.So I assume in a dictionary definition for pride their would be a picture of god.Two things you said:"count others as more significant than yourself" and "look to the interests of others".How does this relate to the bibles approval of slavery,or the condemnation of a man who tends his crop to feed his family,but on the sabbath?Look to the interest of others rings very hollow.Worship him or suffer gods wrath,which isn't a sin when he does it,same as the envy of any other possible god is ok for him.Evidently hypocrisy is a great virtue in this pantomime.What a disgusting concept this character is,condescending to tell us what's right and wrong.

Pride is a sin that comes from.sin???Did God through the scriptures tell people to humbles themselves and turn from their wicked ways then he would heal.their land or something so repent...If you don't need to repent of any sin this doesn't apply to you..there's another verse that says more joy will be in heaven over one sinner that repents more than the 99 just persons that need no repentance..
