This video is POTENTIALLY the best on RUclips for explaining slow-jigging rods. But I completely agree with Wali (below) that we aren't told which rod has which action (softer, stiffer, etc.). And I'm puzzled that although you invite our comments and questions, you don't reply to a single one of them. PLEASE consider doing that now, even though this video was done five years ago. Or, better yet, do another, updated version!
Great info, and THE BEST way to show how the Rods and jigs respond is in a swimming pool! I try out all my new gear/jigs that way! I just bought a Terez 6’6” XX heavy, and a Trevala S ML 6’2”. Can’t wait to put my Avets on them and whip some Snapper and Grouper!
I like that this guy does a serious review then just throws in some cheesy humor.
Ah, finally, a clear, to the point video that actually shows what was promised.
Thanks for the video! Ive been seeking more knowledge on slow jigging gear and technique. Very informative and helpful!
Great video dude! Such a good job explaining the intricacies with SPJ. Thank you.
Great presentation for Slow jigging with super light jigging rods (20-100gr range ) which type of rod you recommend solid or tubular ?
Can you do a video regarding how to maximise the reels functions? Like how to set the drags for spinning or ocea jigger/calcutta lever/lock/free lock?
Great info please add more content
more for the jig review than the rod itself..but i enjoy the video...good job guys..maybe next time show how the jig action when slow pitch action like japanese angler's secrets video.😊

Thank you for the vid! Its nice to see some jig action and rod action at the same time. You said the JigWrex was your preference for your style and you showed the different actions at the beginning. But you did not make clear which was which. Which rod was slower (more bending)? Thanks again!

What is best for Ocea Jigger 4000HG 450-500m depth?
Well the team tried hard to perform this but maybe inexperienced in making video cause the video content became unclear especially when explaining the rod
Without properly showing each rod as they almost look the same , behave quite similar with the 200g jig
The only thing that really clear is how to let the jig properly sink
And the singlish game is strong
Are these made for rock fishing ?
Hello, we are looking for some specific rods of Slow jigging.
We were about to acquire Game Type J B684 (300 gr.), But we have verified that there is a new Jigwrex Slow (180 gr.). And doubts have arisen about this rod.
We would like to know the difference of Game Type J vs. Jigwrex Slow, we know that the Jigwrex are two pieces, but we would like to know if they share the same Black.
We usually fish at max. Of 60 m. And with a maximum of 150 gr. To which we must add the underwater currents. In addition, fishing in the kayak is usually done with an inclination approx. Of the 90th, so I would like to ask you advice about which reed is best for this type of kayaking
Thank you very much.
Hi Luis, thank you for your interest but kindly note that the Jigwrex Slow-jig is model for South-East Asian markets only.
I have the exact same question, i´m fisshing in the same conditions to! i was expecting to see a much more detailed answer from Shimano. The is some Shimano rods that only rates max 300gr. That means the ation of that rods like grappler and other, work on any weight jig (80 gr, 100 gr, 200 gr, 250 gr) at the max of the 300 gr? I'm asking this because normally the ation is more narrow like 150 gr to 250 gr or something like that.
@@galvalalo Every rod will have an upper and lower limit on the jigs it can work properly….usually a rod that max around 300gr on the upper limit will have a 100gr limit on the lower end. If you try lighter than that the rod will still give you some action but it will not load completely hence it cannot unload properly giving you the full recoil and the “kick” at the end. Hope this clarify your doubts.
Malah ngelawak ending nya hehehe. Very funny tho. Thx for review.
