Dear All well and according to my experience I noticed that Amber-jack prefer higher speed to hit the jig while Grouper & Dent-ex prefer the slower speed while jigging I suggest to use both during your movement between spots and that what usually I do and it works for me nice video on other note the sound can be better especially boat noise thanks.

Looks like he's using the Shimano ocea slow jig rod I personally use hearty rise slow jig III power 1, 240gm had great results.. also very good rod is evergreen Poseidon 603-4 can be found on www.oceandevil.com click like if i helped :)
