Thanks so much for playing I Am The Ocean by Neill Young and Pearl Jam. One of my favourite albums of all time. Any more from this album would be very welcome ❤
Seconded! Mirrorball is quality; Scenery, Act of Love, Big Green Country... love those tracks! Also, thanks for misspelling Neil Young with my spelling of Neill 😅 Lofty company 😀
The top end doesn’t sound right to me. When you hear old 70’s live recordings of AC/DC the top end of their plexi’s would take your head off. Not sure if it was just the set up used or how the pedal was set, but the high end sounded dull.
I've watched a few demos of this and thought the same thing. I have a 1987x and it has insane amounts of treble and upper mids. This pedal seems to sound more like a fuzz as you turn it up, whereas my 1987x still gets that saturation be retains a lot of treble.
Great playing, but this sounds nothing like a plexi. This says nothing about you as a player or a tone finder, it just doesn't sound like a plexi. It's still a great video though and a good pedal, but not a plexi in a box.

You’re welcome mate, must do some lessons for those soon!

I may have to get this and the two Blackmore inspired pedals (the treble booster and AIWA preamp that Catalinbread made).

Is he using Greenbacks in the demo?

The base tone prior to the pedal engaged has too much in the lower mids. That’s gonna screw up any pedal demo.
same amp settings i use for every pedal demo
I've passed on this pedal time after time as to my ears it just doesn't sound like a plexi, sure it sounds really good but not great.
This pedal really doesn't sound good.
Too fizzy

Without Howard G, done with them
Cool story bro.
If you were truly done with them you wouldn’t have clicked on this video in the first place 🙄
