@herox12five Hello! I upgrade my Ram by turning it off, not totally removing. So i just removed the connection of the battery to the motherboard. Then, I added one more ram, after that, I turned the battery on again by connecting to the motherboard. Nowadays, it works great!

They were showing you how to actually replace your RAM, not advise you on what ram is best use and for what. Besides it will be the exact same in all laptops. Aside from the positioning of the RAM, and amount of customisation, as stated in the video. For example my laptop has two upgradable ram slots! Just open up the back of your laptop and find it, it’s a good learning experience

Don't buy, no such thing as a 1TB ram stick, especially not for $40. 32gb is more than enough for most laptops. If you're doing high end gaming or 3d rendering, then yes, more is better. And no, ram does not store long term data, so it will not affect your files.

It's generally not good practice to mix brands....while it may work fine, there's also no guarantee. The "latency" between chip brands can often vary!....so there's a chance your RAM chips will kinda be out of sync, which can actually slow your CPU down, or it won't perform as Good as it should with those RAM upgrades.....that's the way I understand it in simple terms. I've never tried to see if this is true, but that's what other people say.
I have a Toshiba L650 with 4gb of ram 2+2, both removable. I got two 8gb ram ddr3 boards, but when i install them the computer tries to start windows but ends up in a blue screen with an error message and keeps restarting... Any ideas?

Before my laptop killed itself I was going to upgrade the ram because it had 2 slots (one extra). I had to buy a new laptop and found out that there was only one slot which was annoying.
There are differences between ddr3 and ddr4 so-dimm ram so you will need to check your laptop by either checking the spec sheet or speaking with the manufacturer and giving them the model number. Most modern laptops are so-dimm however there may be high end gaming/workstation laptops that use non so-dimm ram similar to a PC tower. Again check your laptop as there are hundreds and hundreds of different models and configuration.

Well of course not... There are different generations of memory over the past 25+ years. Modern computers usually have DDR4 or DDR5 RAM. RAM is neither backwards nor forwards compatible.

Are you upgrading from 1 ram to 2 ram modules? It will happen when the two rams isn't from a same brand

My HP 15 with Windows 10 is terrible. It takes 5 minutes to respond when you click on something, 8 minutes to open Chrome.

Was your older ram ddr3? Make sure your motherboard can support that.
