    Glad to hear your gonna fix her up. Finishing the rebuild on my AMC 327 this weekend, so it must be something in the moon lol.

      @@Harry_Dawg. lol must be.. not something i needed with all the other work that needs done on this and my other Jeeps.. but hey. But itll be awhile and ill keep driving it as it is until i get the stuff and money i need TO do this.

    Looking at a junk yard engine isn’t a bad idea as far as economics for now been there done that a few times
    Anything good on that motor you can just swap over give ya more time to save up and do what you want to er

    That motor would be easy to pull lots of room and not much crap to deal with
    The running gear is more important than the body work that horse has got to eat and momma needs heat

    My opinion... which is worthless to most probably. It is a massive risk to run the truck when you know for a fact that a bearing is gone. Running the risk of destroying the crank and rods and if more bearing let go you could put a hole in the block. Then you have nothing. Best thing you could do is find a used Running engine until you have the time and money to repair that one. Another option would be to find a running inline 6 cylinder for cheap until you repair the v8.

      There is a running amc 360 near me for $700.
